Nah, that's the Pats not having their OL together or (fill another circumstance here). It's never the D shutting down the Pats offense. When the Pats win, without their OL, it's ALL Brady and his manner for orchestrating this offense to an epic level of awesomeness. So, no, it's not the Saints D. This is just the Pats being "off".
difference in the game was the INT and the fact that NO was able to get a few more stops than NE. Still, this was really about the two offenses tearing it up.
yeah, it wouldn't make sense, but I thought I heard the announcers saying that the game and play clocks were almost identical, and they called a timeout right at the end. Guess they were wrong.
also, NE missed a FG earlier and they of course went for it on 4th and 4, eschewing a short FG. I was surprised to see Gostkowski miss a dome FG, even though it was about a 50 yarder.
game over. Saints win. Great performance by Brees and the entire offense, and the NE D really had an awful game.
Bam... another TD from Brees.... Well, on a night you would have expected Brady to get his love, Brees has had his knob superbly serviced by the guys in the booth. They just can't get enough of him. Tom looks like he might cry.
