Iowa pathetic in OT. Ohio State going for the game winning FG. The ex-soccer player walkon Barclay for the win here.
WTF? North Carolina completes a three yarder and the guy went out of bounds 4th and 1 they somehow ruled him staying in bounds
I just saw the SC score.... is that a mistake? Stanford 55-21 over the once mighty Trojans? I was on the Cardinal but not to crush the Trojans. They now have the inside track to the Rose Bowl with wins over SC and Oregon. Like I told Iggy I'm there if they make it.
So much for those vaunted PAC 10 defenses lol. With the talent SC's D has, it's disgraceful for them to give up 55 to a slightly above average Stanford team.
Deeeeeeeestroooooooooyed. It was all Toby, Toby, Toby, and clutch passing by Luck when needed. Richard Sherman tossed in a score on an INT return that broke SC's spirit. The crowd at the Coliseum was absolutely and completely deflated like I've never seen it. Simply amazing. Highest point total given up by the Trojans in their history as a football team.
Bitter much? I'm guessing you haven't seen Stanford play this season. They are peaking right now. Andrew Luck is a freshman and has thrown the ball better each and every week. The defense is starting to come together, and Gerhart is destroying everyone in his path. 178 yards and 3 TDs today against a team that has only allowed 100 yards to an entire TEAM twice this season (including that blowout loss to Oregon). This team has 3 losses, and two of them came on the final possession as a lack of serviceable defensive depth hurt the team. Well, the defense looked good from whistle to whistle today against a very explosive SC team.
ND roughed the punter on the first drive, giving Pitt another chance They almost had a TD on 3rd and 10, but the receiver bobbled it and didn't gain possession until he had stepped out of the back of the endzone. Instead, they got a FG.
I have no dog in this fight bro, I just call 'em as I see them. I could've scored on one of Gerhart's TD runs where USC's defense was out of alignment and running on the field as he walked into the end zone. That one falls on Carroll and the DC. SC's D is a shell of last year's unit which is sad considering the talent on their roster.
blown call there. Clausen was down before he threw the pass. didn't make a huge difference, because the guy who caught it was tackled behind the line ND faces 3rd and 16
My point exactly. That tells you just how down the PAC-10 really is this year. No team even close to being considered for a shot at the national title game. Whereas you have a Big East team (Cincy) and a TCU team both seriously in the hunt for the title game if Texas loses.
Sergio Brown celebrates a tackle by doing the chop to his crotch. Classy. Pittsburgh stopped on their second drive, and they punt to ND with a minute left in the 1st. still 3-0
Louisiana Tech up 13-10 on LSU at the half LSU was favored by 23. Notre Dame loses about 6 on its first two plays end of the first
