I finally tapped out in the first half when the Seahawks were driving for their TD. Followed the game through the Game Thread after that. The Jets are just flatout painful to watch. I am actually relieved that they have played their last meaningful game of the season. I am done with this team ruining my Sundays.

The big three--enough to get fired?

Not going for it on the first drive, not attempting the fg again after penalty and then going for it on your own 20. 3 absolutely disasterous coaching blunders that are rarely seen-let alone 3 in one game. Was that performance by that fat prick enough to get him fired? Belichik lost half his team and he is going to take this division from Mangini(I have a feeling. Unfuckingbelieveable

It's Brett's fault, The D's fault, The coaching staffs fault etc etc.... We played like garbage in too many games we should have outright won.

Couldn't agree more, I mean who couldn't see this coming? 8-3 start to missing the playoffs, thanks for the comedy act guys! Clean house, start fresh, give it another go next year.

    Disgusting.

    That was ugly as hell.

I hope next week looks alot better than this one.

I wonder if Favre will figure out how great he looks when he gets rid of the ball quickly with set feet. He and our WRs have very little chemistry, especially between he and Coles.

I think Coles has played his way off of the 2009 Jets BTW. IMO he's had more big DROPS this year than he's had big catches. I still haven't forgotten how big his 2 in Week 2 was for that game. People are going to give the coaches a ton of shit for not punting on that pass, but Coles holds onto that fucking ball and Mangini and whoever else gets credit for being daring and ballsy and whatever other cliche bullshit that would be come up with. Second guessing isn't my thing, but plenty of other people enjoy this so thats pretty much all I'll say about that.

How fucking disgusting is this...we had control of our future the WHOLE SEASON and it's gone just like that. Now we have to play well and STILL get lucky.

I'm not going to contribute yet another another ignorant "ZOMG FIRE EVERYONE!" thing. But this is fucking disgusting, and it's probably the first time I've ever been truly disappointed in the coaching staff. They needed this game...

I wish Favre was younger...dude just isn't the same. It's not that he can't or even won't do it...it's just not as easy as it once was for him and you can see that.

considering how much of a hard-on Johnson has for emulating the Pats, I think the Pats winning the division in a season in which they lost their QB and we spent a whole gangload in the offseason and traded for Favre spells more doom for the coaching staff than the Dolphins winning the division. if we can't beat the Pats this season, this coaching staff never will. if both the Pats and the Jets miss the playoffs, we're both in the same boat. only the Pats success, not the Dolphins, can magnify our failures.

This is probably his first year watching football. When he starts watching the playoffs and sees other teams play, he'll probably just find another team to root for.

Our season is already over...Chad, as usual, won't do anything to change that.
