Forget about the Jets game and any kind of television reception whatsoever. In fact, bring your bow and arrow and Burt Reynolds, because you're going to need it. There's kin up in them thar hills that don't take a shinin' to no outsiders, 'specially if'n yer some kinda foreigner. Their sister will do jes fine but if'n you show up its all ways thet much better. Now pull down yer pants, boy!
Hey, I'll actually be there (my first preseason game). I was wondering, for all you regulars, if it's usually easy to move up seats when people start leaving? I got pretty crappy tickets by the endzone nose-bleed section, and I was sorta planning to swoop in to better seats.
FYI, you can actually start poaching from the time you walk in the door. Go to the best seats you'll ever imagine and work down from there.... 50 yard-line, Mezzanine, you get the picture. You have to play Musical Chairs as the people arrive with tickets to the seat you're sitting in, but you excuse yourself and move to a row later or some seats further down. Eventually, you're on the 45 and enjoying fantastic seats for the entire duration. Seriously, the stands will be 22% filled, so don't sweat it.
I used to go to the Eagles preseason game each of the last few years. I don't think that I can make it to any this year, it's kind of depressing.
After a while this thread will probably be merged with a vick thread. You guys say you can watch it on SNY, but i live in Florida, where can i watch the Jets-Falcons pre-season game? online? I plan on getting Direct tv this year, will that have all the jets pre-season games?
NFL Network. DTV will have it on SNY only if you pony up for the Sports package(about 10 bucks a month)
