I didn't ramble on about previous years. I compared it to one year...2004. I did my 'little breakdown' that year too after week 14 and every game fell into place and we made the playoffs (at 10-6, I might add). That's why I did it this year, and this year it's much tougher, but still do-able. Don't ruin my fun, man. Do you go to the games, Greener?

Yes, I attend 4-5 games per year (Again, why is that relevant?) Anyway, I'd like to be done with this thread and just say that I also believe that the Jets will make the playoffs if they are 10-6. In fact, it's quite rare that a 10-6 team doesn't make it (notwithstanding KC 05, Mia 03). I didn't want to ruin your fun - just wanted to know where that fun was coming from.

I want the jets to win out and if they do I believe they'll get in. But after feeling crushed by the loss on Sunday, I just think it's better not to get ahead of ourselves. We have 3 very tough games to go (obvious, I know).

That is not true at all.

As of right now we are out of the Playoffs.
    On the outside looking in.

Even if we win 3 games we are NOT in. We need help.

Dude - now you are just really annoying and making a fool out of yourself.

I said I WANT the jets to win out. What kind of fan would I be if I didn't want that. I DID NOT predict the jets to go 10-6 and make the playoffs.

I said that if they were to go 10-6, I think they would get in. This belief is based on cold-hard-facts that most 10-6 teams make it. It has nothing to do with the Jets or making predictions or whatever. Any team that goes 10-6 I believe will make the playoffs.

That's if the season ended today. True we don't control our own destiny, but I can almost guarantee if we win out, that we are in. No way both Jax and Cinci win out with their schedules. I could see jax going 0-3.

The way I really see it the Jets only have one big challenege. That's the Dolphins. We lose to the Raiders or Vikings we don't deserve Playoffs at all.....

It's gonna be 9-7 or 10-6 at the end of the year....

Hey I believe. It happened in 2002, it can happen again this year. But they obviously can't play nearly as bad as they did on Sunday if they want to win out.

Chances are that those of US who are opposed to Chad as the QB not only feel that way after a lose but before and after EVERY game. There are moments in every season that I have oodles to say about the state of our team but, to be honest, after a game like the last, and really any lose, I don't want to hear the words foot and ball in the same sentance. I read most threads but post on few for that reason. But you shouldn't assume that the only time we call for a player's head is after a lose. I am quite sure that if you could take the time and sort EVERY poster by name and take a peak at their opinions on all JET related topics you would probably notice that posters opinions , let's say on Chad, either before a game or after a win or even after a lose, haven't changed. Bench Chad. Go JETS!
