That is funny. I have to throw that one in my sig. Ass cue.

I think it may have something to do with him not liking BJ Askew, 35.

It is either that or through some Pavlovian alteration this person is capable of farting on command 35 times a day - kinda like the clapper.

Or even worse, somebody who has a fixation for a place to park a billiard stick and is now up to #35.

We should bring in Mcginest. That would be a great signing for us. Hes a very good player and fits right in the 3-4 Defense that Mangini would probably run. I dont know how you would not wanna go for him when we need another OLB for the 3-4. He will bring great leadership to our young Defense.

    good point.

but at this stage, i really don't think it's necessary to do that. if we were making a run, i'd say sign Mcginest instantly. but we're not, so we don't need him.

Mangini and his staff will let their coaching speak for itself; that is, they'll command the players' respect based on knowledge of the game and experience in winning, regardless of age.

    cheers

Is my way of protesting us drafting BJ in the 3rd round. We could have used that pick for someone else.A FB in the third round? How many games has he started, maybe now with Sowell out we will see him, but i doubt it will be worth drafting him in the third.

i just thought hed be a good fit in terms of hes a good player right now, a type of player eric is lookin for, but who knows how eric thinks of him since he was his coordinator last season. Maybe he can be an influence on hobson or bryan thomas, hed be a nice player to have when your starting a 3-4.

Are we going to do this again? Every player who gets cut make a thread on them? Where's the threads for Issac Bruce? Julian Peterson? Sam Adams? Will Witherspoon? Charles Woodson...ETC.ETC. Every year.

Willie McGinest is to old. The Jets have to go all out rebuilding with all young players. Curtis Martin should be our only veteran and hes only got another year or two. We need younger linebackers

    Vilma is 23
    Barton 28
    Hobson 26
    Brown 25
    McClover 24

I agree that a LB should be drafted if they plan on using a 3-4, but how much younger can you get?
