I'm really looking forward to this "Heaven and Hell" project with Dio and Sabbath. Heaven and Hell and Mob Rules were the best Sabbath Albums IMO. I looked for an official site but couldn't find anything with info or samples. If any of you rivet heads come along something, let me know.
This is kinda interesting - Dream Theater and Barney from Napalm Death covering Damage Inc. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPdfj88HvCs John P is pretty much cracking-up the whole time.
http://www.supremebrutality.com/fest/ May 26 and 27th. Im thinking a road trip is in order. Lotta grind bands, though

Man, I mean, I know my music is abrasive to people who aren't accustomed to the sound, but that first song really sounds like a Muppet being violently strangled to death in an aluminum trashcan.
Holy hell, I hate bands that try to incorporate sentences into their names. Seriously, that has to be the gayest thing ever
Black Label Society-European Invasion-Doom Troopin Live Intro Solo-Zack Plays a Rhodes Les Paul V Stoned and Drunk Suicide Mesiah Stillborn I still kick myself for not going to see Ozzy with Randy Rhodes in Asbury Park back in 1981...but Zack still does a great job...
Any doom metal fans here? The only band I know well out of that genre is Disembowelment, and I love em, but theyre not enough to satisfy my appetite. My Dying Bride, Katatonia, Sunn O))), Anathema, and Paradise Lost are a few other bands that Ive been meaning to check out and will probably do so soon. Does anyone have any other recommendations for me?
I'm a a big fan of Paradise Lost, one of my favorites. They aren't doom anymore, but check out "Lost Paradise" and "Gothic"
