Good. He's an idiot plain and simple. You really need to smoke weed that badly that you throw away millions?
Tested positive for alcohol. ProFootballTalk @ProFootballTalk 10m10 minutes ago As @AdamSchefter reports, Josh Gordon is facing one-year suspension. Per source, Gordon tested positive for alcohol.
You have got to be kidding me. I thought this was an old thread that was bumped, but he seriously did it, AGAIN? His career is over at this point, I'd bet my house on it. Shame...
he needs help bad. his career might not be over but its not looking good. he needs to clean up and stay clean for the year he is gone and maybe a team will take a chance on him
If he is at the point where an alcohol test is being administered then it's probably why they let him come back during the 2014 season, don't downplay it. He is just as stupid as he is talented.
What? Tested positive for a legal drink that anybody 21 and older can drink? What kind of fucked up rules does the NFL have where guys like him, and Prater can't even drink? I know they're not 1st time offenders, so that's got something to do with it, but still..I can't think of any other business in the world where you're not allowed to EVER drink. That's FUCKED UP.
If you can't control yourself which it is quite obvious he can't then something like this is needed. I wouldn't be surprised if his plea deal for DWI also prohibited him from drinking, if so then he has more trouble coming.
Right. I forget that he had actual trouble with the law too. That's a shame that the guy just can't be sober.
Either the dumbest motherfucker in sports, or so messed up that he needs to spend that entire year in rehab (or maybe both...). Can't imagine any team taking anything more than a league-minimum flyer on someone who can't control themselves and would be gone again with one puff. Speaking of which, I'm curious: is this the final straw, suspension-wise? If he comes back for 2016 and fails again, is it the same 1-year + beg for reinstatement deal, or is he gone for good?
