Adam Shefter reports the Browns are trying to trade both Greg Little and Josh Gordon. If I'm the Jets I'd offer a 4 th or 5 th for Greg Little today , what do u think? With the WR play being what it is why not

Gordon has much more upside....... if he can stay out of trouble. Could he handle NYC?

Adam Schefter - Browns open to trading Josh Gordon / Greg Little

    @AdamSchefter
Josh Gordon is one hell of a deep threat and is very explosive. Greg Little has a major issue with dropping the football that could make Clyde Gates look serviceable at times.

Ok maybe I lied about that last sentence.

Like I said in another thread, he is a tremendous talent with worlds of potential BUT he is one mistake away from a year-long suspension.

Caveat emptor. Gordon looks really good but then why are the Browns willing to trade him?

Greg Little needs to stop driving, he's a clusterfuck, plus he has stone hands.

Gordon has been suspended ( substance-abuse policy), and has a poor work ethic.

    I'd pass on both players.

Yep. There's a reason the Browns are willing to trade a talent like that.

The same reason they traded Richardson and the same reason the Colts had a fire sale two years ago.

Nah I'd rather keep our draft picks and draft a receiver in round 1 next year.

although I could see a conditional pick being traded on the number of snaps/catches/games he has for his new team. I wouldn't expect the Browns to get anything more than a 4th rounder ... likely a 5th/6th with his issues.

He's coming off a suspension for Codeine. Acquiring other team's problem children is one of the things that has gotten the Jets into the mess we're in.

Maybe a conditional draft pick for Gordon? 4th if he stays out of trouble, 6th if not?

He's prob 1 mistake away from a possible year suspension. They want to tear the football team down and start over.

If the Jets were interested, the most I would give up is a 3rd rounder.

yeah that's the only way I see it happening. A 4th AT BEST is what they will get IMO.

I wouldn't mind Joe Thomas though while they are putting items on clearance ...
