    Interesting twists tonight.

Obviously Hughes is starting. Wang was announced that he will miss a start from the split nail. (Igawa will fill the spot this turn.) He'll be reevaluated later in the week.

Abreu is leading off tonight. Damon met with chiropractor 3 times in the past day and a half. He claims he now feels good, and that he's ready to help the team turn it around.

Joe called George to thank him for the vote of confidence. He also had a different demeanor in the pregame interview. He seems a little more comfortable. Maybe he really needed to hear George has his back? (I really hope that sparks this team.)

Murcer is in the booth!!! Welcome back BOBBY!!!

    Let's go Yanks!

Nothing like a poor fielding and poor pitching team to help you get back on track!

    Keep it up Yanks!

    Hughes is pitching a gem!

Through 4 innings, no hits, 3 strike outs, 2 BB, and ONLY 43 PITCHES!

on a side note, he has faced the minimum number of batters through 4 innings

Abreu has been ICE cold lately...

Has a hit tonight, but other than that he has been very shaky...

Man, what the hell is ARod's OBP up to at this point? He's getting on base AT LEAST twice every game.

Even when he isn't hitting homers, he's having GREAT at-bats.

    Thanks man.

I am stuck listening to the Texas Broadcasters because of mlb.tv. I go to school in mass haha.

From what I can see, Hughes is just filthy tonight...I want the yankees to get out when they bat so i can just watch this kid pitch. Its very exciting.
