Whoa...I can understand your reaction there. Plummer > Favre 15 and 22= 5 Thats stupid. Plummer is a great QB who is in his prime for at least 2 or 3 more years. Favre is washed out and is definitely no better than Plummer at throwing, scrambling, or reading coverage and blitz's. Plus there's the added pressure of just having rumors floating around that Favre is done. No way is this even close to fair. Denver is one of the teams in this league that has a QB set in stone for years to come. They don't need to sure up their QB position, and even if they did, Favre would NOT be the way to go.
Plummer is not and never will be a "great" QB. He had a good year last year but that's it. I do agree though that they are probably pretty equal right now.
Plummer is a product of the "no mistake policy." He's not going to screw up, but he's not going to make any plays. Plus he still has Vinnyitus, in that he'll make a terrible play after making several good ones.
