The initials mean exactly that and more!! First off that game was just another piss poor defensive performance. No real consistent pressure, terrible coverage and no passion. Offensively we can’t score turning it over and getting penalties! In games that we’re somewhat competitive we run the ball (didn’t today enough), and do “trick “ plays....we did a couple of them today and they worked well again. But White sucked. Showed why he’s a back up. BUT, most importantly, WTF stands for Where’s The Fans. I came from upstate to support the boy and was SHOCKED to see the lack off Jets fans or maybe just the large number of Jills fans throughout the stadium. Bye the third quarter I though I was in the visiting stadium. They were so much louder and out numbered us. WTF!! Heck, after only 3 J E T S chants by fireman Fred in the first two minutes it was dead silent. I know there’s not much to cheer about, but cmon.
They are in my book. Always will be. And it bugged me seeing them rule the roost in OUR house. Not only have the players lost their passion, now the fan base is. Scary
Where are the fans? Where do you think? Saving their money instead of driving to sit through 3 hours of torture. Maybe the Jets should find a way to put a non garbage product on the field for once and people would spend their money to be there.
Exactly. There's no point in a fan spending their hard earned money on a franchise that isn't putting forth any effort to improve itself. They take our financial support for granted and continue to line their pockets off of our backs while putting a product on the field that wouldn't be competitive in an indoor arena league. It's shameful.
Remember when we used to look down on the Browns? Remember when we could compete with the Bills? Those days are gone my friend and they ain't coming back any time soon. Maybe after 4 or 5 more drafts. that's 2027 and we MIGHT make it back to 6-11.
The last time I went to a bills game, Geno Smith went 2/8 for 5 yards and 3 INTs. I was surrounded by Bills fans chanting "Lets Go Buffalo" while high fiving over my head and splashing beer on me and my 7yo. This Jets team is worse than that one, and this Bills team is far better. I learned my lesson. I wouldn't have gone to this game if the tickets were free.
EVERY single point made is valid...I get it. It was just so hard trying to explain to my son and nephew why there were so many more Bills jerseys in the stands than Jets ones. Wasn’t sure how to answer. I feel bad for my son and future generations coming up through. How do we get them to hold on when “we” don’t. I found myself asking myself today, why? Why should he (my son) be a Jets fan...cuz dad is? It’s been too long in between runs for this organization.
You are right about this one. I have seen Metlife take overs before but yesterday was as brutal as it got. Sea of Blue jerseys in the stands. it was like a Bills home game.
They built us the fans a SHARED STADIUM that is a joke, remember shared, not even close to Atlanta’s new one or Minnesota’s new one, NO ROOF, not retractable nothing. What does it cost to park a car 40.00 50.00, I don’t go anymore, forget the fact the team has sucked for years, it takes forever to leave the stadium, PSLs if a big time team comes seats on the secondary market not worth it if your a Jet fan. I’m 65 years old, I used to bring my son who is 33 25 years ago, I couldn’t subject him any longer to what would be said in the stands by drunks loaded before the game even started, what does a beer or soda cost in the stadium I don’t even know. A family can’t even go to a game without getting a home equity loan. Oh did I mention the team really sucks
I’m pretty forgiving of fan douchebaggery even though I think it’s pretty dumb. But I fucking hate it when little kids get treated badly. Inexcusable.
Fuck Bills fans. It was back in 2013 or 2014 where I was jailed at Metlife for attacking 3 duechebags sitting in front of me and harassing a father and a son. Not my proud moment. Had to go thru an Anger Management class and get a certificate before I could step into Metlife. Fucking Bills fans are the worst. Didn't have much problem with Pats fans and Dolphins fans past 10 years. But there is always something with Bills fans.
If you think it’s bad with Bills fans at a game you should see what it is like when they are winning up here in the Saratoga area upstate, F guess what it is like being a Jet fan surrounded by Bills and Giant fans around here, the only reprieve we get is the Giants are almost as inept as Jet management
The worst one I was at was against the Giants. You want to talk about a Sea of Blue Jerseys that really was a Sea of Blue jerseys. Crowd was 70-30 Giants fans. They won the game. That was 99 yard play by Victor Cruz if I remember correctly.
