I hate to jump very far ahead but I was just wondering how you felt. If the season ended today the playoffs would like this:

    Jets(5) @ Jaguars(4)
    Ravens(6) @ Chiefs(3)

If both the Ravens and Jets won in the wild card rounds like last season the divisional rounds would look like this

    Jets(5) @ Steelers(2)
    Ravens(6) @ Patriots(1)

Also if the Jets were to end up with the 6 seed it would be a guarentee if we won in the wildcard round that we would have to go to New England. So right now we need to stay a game ahead of the Ravens if want to delay our rematch with New England. My question is would you want a rematch with the Patriots in Foxboro?

To be the best, you have to beat the best.

I'll let you know after I see how this team plays against Pittsburgh.

We will probably run into them in the conference championship. If we want to go to the Super Bowl we have to play them again. So yes.

I've asked this a million times...why do people think the Jaguars and/or Chiefs are automatic W's? They play smart and rarely make mistakes

No the 6 seed would automatically play the 1 seed in the divisional round. So if we end up with the 6 seed we would run into New England if we beat the 4 seed.

Yup. I love it when we beat those guys. Although since 2000 the series is far too lopsided.15-8 Patriots. I'm tired of it. I mean come on. On any given Sunday.

Not ever, this is a different NE team.

    Best QB in the game
    Best coach in the game
    RBs do not fumble
    Receivers run precise routes
    TEs are superb
    O Line is excellent

    NO THANK YOU!!!

No, I'd rather not face the best team in the NFL again.

If we are going to win the AFC, we have to beat New England at some point. I welcome the rematch. If Rex & co can't figure out how to beat the Patriots, then we don't deserve a Superbowl.

Or we can hope the Pats slip up vs. someone else. Right?

    YES-

I want revenge, and the players have already stated the same.

Nothing would be sweeter then to knock them out of the playoffs. I hope and pray that this happens.

Or Wes Welker shreds his knee running a route?

Did you used to be a Pats fan, or do you switch teams a lot? Ex-Charger fan maybe??

Are you serious? Did the Monday night spanking now show that playing NE in Foxboro when the team is 100% healthy is a disaster for ANY team? Revis island can only host one inhabitant at a time and we have NO answer for their Tight Ends, none. I want no part of NE, no thank you, not while Brady is their QB and our coach keeps talking smack about him. Pitt did that in 2004, how did that work out for them?

    I tell the truth

This is a team I don't want to face in the playoffs, if I were a Patriots fan, I would be talking serious smack.

Honestly, nothing would be sweeter than going back to New England and beating them in the Championship Game. Anyone not for this, is crazy!

I really don't care either way. If the Jets play them in the playoffs...great, they'll have a chance at getting some revenge. If they somehow get eliminated by someone else (like last year), it sounds good to me also. Nobody remembers how you got to the Superbowl...just whether you win it or not. And, this team's goal is to win it all. It doesn't matter who they play to achieve it. They just have to win, who cares who they play along the way.

Or rational. It would have been great for Duke to beat KY in the NCAA final too, but by beating Butler are they any less of an NCAA champ? Come on now.
