I think he would be a great addition to the jets. He would compete for the starting job with pennington. what do you guys think?

I think the Jets would be better off signing Kitna if they intend to sign a QB in the draft. Kitna is much better at teaching a younger QB then Ramssey. Just my opinion. Go Jets

It's looking like we're going to end up with Kitna but I'm still holding out hope that the team trades for Ramsey.

I hope (and pray) that the Jets draft Leinart or Cutler, and Kitna is a better care taker QB than Ramsey is. Something else.... I think Ramsey has gotten a raw deal in Washington, and I'd rather see him go to a team that will give him a chance, but I don't want the Jets to be that team. The red flag is that both spurrier and Gibbs, two experienced coaches that know something about QB's just didn't like him. His release is too slow, he takes unecessary sacks, and lacks pocket awareness.

well the jets will either get kitna or ramsey and therefore they wouldnt draft a QB if pennington can throw the ball and the jets would have 4 QB's penning, kitna or ramsey, bollinger, kingsbury

so if they drafted a QB they would have 5 of them and that doesnt make any sense to have 5 QB's

What? Have you ever heard of cutting players, and the taxi squad?

The ONLY reason Pennington is still here is because of his contract, and how restructuring it created a bunch of cap room. Kitna or Ramsey would be a care taker starter. Rumor is Bollinger is gone. Kingsbury goes to the taxi squad. The roster will be Cutler/Leinart, Kitna/Ramsey, and Pennington. THREE QB's.

    If we get Ramsey,

are we even going to draft a QB? Hes young, got the physical tools. If he can cut it, and the FO had better think he can if they're picking him up, then we don't need a QB in the draft, right?

    I prefer Kitna over Ramsey.

Eventually I hope our QB depth chart looks like this...

    #1/#2 Pennington
    #2/#1 Kitna
    #3 Cutler

You don't always pick someone up because you think they are going to become a pro-bowler. Ramsey or Kitna would be good on this team for two reasons...to compete for a starting job in 06' and to help develop a QB...

Ramsey is not going to be a long term answer...Jon Kitna isn't either.

I think that, if you're looking to develop a young QB, Kitna would be the better answer.

I really like the idea of bringing in Ramsey. Obviously you don't feel the same way. Help me understand why you have such a strong dislike, I thought the move would make sense.....

I think Ramsey should get a shot here. Maybe he is as bad as many here think, but I'd give him one more shot to prove hmself.

I voted no in this poll. I voted no in the last two Ramsey polls. I'll vote no in the next poll. The poll after that, I'll vote yes, just to skew the results. I won't vote in April's Ramsey poll, in silent protest. The next following poll, I'll vote no again. I'll then repeat the whole cycle.

There. That ought'a 'bout cover me for a while.

Kitna is a much better addition to the team

    Kitna's Career Completion Percentage:58.8

    Ramsey's Career Completion Percentage:55.7

Jon has the experience and I agree with Penny, whoever the Jets get in the draft will benefit from an experience QB that has been around the league a while.

I would tell the FO to stay away from Ramsey, he isn't worth trading for since the skins WILL release him before the final cuts in july. I would be more happy with kitna.
