    is it just me?

No, it isn't just you. I've counted at least 4 times it has happened. They're hitting the receiver way early. The Jets aren't even complaining about it, which I don't understand.

Is it just me, or did Ray Lewis just stab TJ Conley in the face with a broken beer bottle?

Certainly the Jets are having massive problems tonight. But this is by far the worst officiating I have ever seen in the NFL. These guys are clueless morons.
There...I got it off my chest. We are fortunate to be down by ten at the half

    Oakland was worse.

The Jets are just playing sloppy.

This is not a game to blame the officials. Its a game to understand the magnitude of Nick Mangold.

Just seems like anything they can call on Baltimore gets 'missed'.
Brutal game to watch so far.

I've never seen a punter get hit twice and it not called.

ironically, we got called for BS contact against the ravens kicker last year.

not to mention both sanchez fumbles were incomplete passes, I have never seen a fumble have a spiral and go forward except in AFCCG against pitt.

Officiating bad? We've played pretty badly... is it because of that passing call (fumble) on Sanchez? That seemed rather close.. I thought it could have gone either way.

Some brutal calls to be sure.

Brutal play is more of the culprit.

The second time the defender was blocked into him. Good no call in my opinion.

It is something for he fans to bitch about, and I do as well. However, it is the nature of the game, and something good teams over come.

That said, how do you miss a roughing the kicker call, when your job is to watch for that on that play?

How do you miss the ball being touched at the 3 on a punt, and mark it at the 1" line?

I would assume that I have missed some calls on Baltimore, but I don't care about those.:metal:

    And fuck this league.

Ticky tack calls are commonplace. That is the new NFL. Goodell's NFL.

The officials are told to help the offenses by the league. Trust me. I've sat in sport official meetings where we're taught certain philosophies and what to look for in the preseason.

They've been told this league is a passing league and its about scoring, and safety for QBs and WRs.

Its all tailored to help the offenses score.

Its the AFL but 100 yard fields.

I fucking hate this league and how its destroying a game I love.

Might as well watch tapes of the 90s all over again to see how this game should be played.

    Awful 1st half thus far....

Whether its not putting the ball at the 2 instead of the 1 due to the Raven player touching the ball(Which would have been huge if the Jets got stopped on a safety) or Sanchez clearly going forward with the pass that got called a fumble TD or TJ Conley getting clipped on his left leg by Reed in front of the ref to offset a penalty.

Just a brutal game by Corrupt Carey and his crew.

But this kills the credibility of the criticism.

If they're missing calls for everyone, then we have nothing to complain about.

But if you just want them to call for one side and not the other, then you can't bitch and moan.

Don't worry, we're going to get a few "Make up" calls in the second half. This is the way it always works.
