Looking at our schedule, it is likely especially considering our injuries, our defense underachieving, and our offense sucking because of a lack a good running game and sanchize being one of the worst qbs in the nfl. Bad as i hate to say it our current offensive roster situation begs for tebow to be our qb. If he is our run game will improve, and our passing attack will stay about about the same, although it may improve due to tebows skill set and sanchez's lack there of. Atleast with tebow at qb we wont have a timid wuss leading our team but a fearless punisher running the ball as well as our offense. Its time sparano pulled out the gator spread offense and let puss boy sanchez watch for a while. We may be 8-8 at yeats end but we may be 5-11, or worse, with taco leading our team.
You can't be serious?! What exactly is the purpose of this thread? Who cares about those games right now, we need to beat Indy and worry about that game. One game at a time man. Its all speculation right now. Hell, everyone thought we would get manhandled by Houston. Very few thought we would lose by 6 points and have a chance to win it. We have Indy and new England coming up. A must win in both. Let's take it one game at a time please. Fuckin Tebow lovers. Get the fuck out if you are worried about Sanchez. Rex has made it clear that he's our starter so wtf is the point of making this thread?
Yes. I think we'll squeak out a win against Indianapolis and lose the next three games fairly easily. Heck, we may not even beat Indianapolis. However, if the Jets beat Indianapolis, Mark Sanchez will be the starting QB until December. There are two times for the Jets to change the QB: at the bye week or in between the Thanksgiving game at the December 2nd game against Arizona. The Bye week gives you 13 days, Thanksgiving gives you 9 days. Those are the two times you can change the QB. If you beat Indianapolis, Rex Ryan will NOT change the QB at 3-5. He won't. If you're 2-6, he probably will be forced to. Then, after Thanksgiving, we'll probably be 4-7, maybe just 3-8, and he would be forced to make the switch then before the Arizona game. Makes sense, no?
We'll probably get throttled by NE, but the rest of the next 4 are very winnable games. I'm not saying we'll go 3-1 over the next 4 but 3 of those games are absolutely winnable. @Seattle appears to be the toughest outside of NE, but at least we have a bye week before that. The offense will probably get back on track this week with a much weaker defense to face and Keller probably back.
In recent history, we typically match up very well with the Colts. And that's when Peyton Manning, one of the all time greats, was their QB. I like Luck a lot and would be ecstatic if we could ever have a QB of his caliber. However he's a rookie coming off his biggest NFL win. The Jets are coming off a close loss in our house. This has the makings of the Jets winning big. I say Jets -7. The other 3 games not so confident about. Miami keeps improving every week so will be a tough game.
Indy is coming off a very emotional home win, it's hard to replicate that the following week esepcially w/o the emotion of the home crowd.
What's the point if going 8-8? Get another mid round pick? We might as well leave Sanchez if he does good than fine if not then we draft another QB. No point in putting Tebow in when we know he's not the long term solution.
