I have been posting on this website for about two years, and each week I can't believe how negative some of our fans can be. I have been a Jet fan for over 24 years and every preseason I think its a clean slate, deep down I know it could be a bad year but as a fan I hold out hope (maybe not during the Kotite years) but I still think we might win. I have read people bitch from Penny to our coach to just about everything. WHY? I remember last year nobody thought Penny would ever come back, and damn right he did it. Magaini hasn't even coached a regular season game yet and some fans still complain. Give this new regime a chance to see where it will lead us. I know this website is to express your feelings on our New York Jets but come on give this new era a chance.
Its not that i don't believe in complaining but don't be negative, not you just some so called fans in general.
Just stop it Just stop the negativity...you guys are killin me....I think many of you are going to be suprised this year. Its almost like no one has watched football before. How can you just sit there and assume the worst? There are a ton of factors that haven't even come into play. If I remember correctly we were a kicker away from the AFC championship 2 years ago with a broken Chad. Considering that half of out team was injured and we were using our 3rd string QB and 3rd string RB I think we did pretty fuckin good. We only got blown out a few times. Now I lived in San Diego when they went 4-12, and I was still there The NEXT YEAR when they went 12-4. Basically anything can happen, and most of the people on this message board are ridiculous. Honestly, some of the people who post here might be the most moronic losers in this world. you can tell by the tone in their post. If your lives are so boring and meaningless, that you are gonna sit down and find every possible negative thing about the JETS to complain about....then you should probly just tie the Noose and Kick the chair cause lifes is a little more complicated than football. If your that unhappy go see a therapist or change your job. WE ARE FANS OF THE JETS, WE HAVE NO POWER ON WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN AT ANY TIME. all we do is pay their contracts...So why complain about what our FO is doing when all your doing is frustrating yourself and everyone around you.. You can have your own opinions, but stop criticizing every little thing. Just be Happy that its football season and lets see what happens. Ive been reading this Board since I first moved to Cali 3 years ago, so its not like I just came on here 2 weeks ago. I just dont post because usually what i have to say is said. But im pretty fed up with this pessimist shit. Give mangini a chance.....my question is where is every negative person gonna go if the jets go 9-7 or 10-6? They will probly go find something else to complain about...

What are you going to do if we go 4 & 12? I gave my reasons why we should go 9 & 7, 10 & 6 but if we go 4 & 12 and look like crap doing it, I'm sure I will have a few negative things to say about the coach and the talent. Your question cuts both ways as does ever opinion on the team. By the way why do you think we are going to go 9 &7 or 10 & 6? I would be very interested to hear why you think that?

Ok This is just a waste of time. People are trying to find news and opinions about the team. All this does is bring a soap opera into the forum. Voting to lock it.
I don't know how people can be complaining about Mangini when the season hasn't even started. He and Tannenbaum had a good draft and got everyone signed without giving away the house, got us under the salary cap even though we had some highly paid players (Chad, Martin who are still on the team and other who left), got picks and players for players that were going to be cut (Jolly, Bollinger). Preaseason doesn't count, so let's wait and see what Mangini does in the regular season. He hasn't shown what he can do yet in a game. I am glad we got Mangini and Tannenbaum instead of Herman and Bradway and feel good about the new season. We should do better with what we got than Herman ever could.
