I have read where John Idzik is well respected around the league. Mike T not so much. I know buy low and sell high with trades. Plus, agents get all they can. (Revis people will be happy with a $100M cap charge on an 0-16 team)
    But,
Will having John Idzik help with trades and / or dealing with Agents?

After some of the deals Tanny came up with (Bart Scott, Thomas, Holmes, Hunter, Sanchez) he has to be seen as an idiot capable of scratching huge dumass checks for no good reason.

Idzik has some very small shoes to fill.

The day Tanny got shit canned you could almost hear the sports agents sighing "ahh shit".

I think having Tebow gone will help more than anything. And not trying to bash the player, but the headache that he brought. That transaction really screwed up the perception of this team, and that's saying a lot because they weren't a model franchise prior to that.

I'm more interested in knowing how much his help will directly improve our team on the field.

Also he better be able to help us facilitate trades. That is a fundamental qualification for any GM and an integral part of the job.
