I don't think the Dolphins are very good against the run. Ivory and Powell will probably be running a lot. If Kerley comes back I think he definitely will. If he's without Kerley and Holmes then probably no.
I'm not hedging my bets on Geno anymore. I'd be kind of shocked if they crack 10 completions especially with the way our running game should pan out. I don't know. I am never confident when we play the Dolphins with a GOOD team. No matter how bad they are playing they are always "up" for us. Everyone yammers on about Patriots but THIS is our real rivalry. There wasn't a Patriots rivalry until Brady came along and when he leaves so, too, will it. The Dolphins will continue. We've been beating on each other since the 70's. No, I'm not confident at all...
Lol, what an asshole of a thread. If we are running the ball well, which we should, then Geno probably won't complete 10. I'm gonna say he will complete 10 though because what should happen never seems to happen.
It was prior to Halloween the last time he completed double digit passes in a game. I think it's a reasonable question.
he'll throw double digit good throws but won't get double digit completions... because his receivers will drop like 7 or six of them. holmes is likely out, Kerely is too, Unless his TE's help out Geno is doomed. the best we can hope for is some completed passes to help open up the run.
I voted Yes, but think the below keys are much more important against the Fish. 1) Can Geno and rest of team limit turnovers to no more than 1 2) Can we get our ground game humming 3) Can the secondary take away Miami's deep ball, and get thru a game w/o letting up a bomb 4) Can our Dline dominate the LOS against this suspect Oline, and make Tannehill uncomfortable all day This is the type of matchup where we shouldn't need all that much from Geno..
He would of last week if the receivers didn't drop 6 passes. I think that it's more of a question if the line will allow us to pass the ball.
Seems like MM doesn't trust him anymore. He really has the reigns on him. Combine that with the fact that the Jets should have decent success running the ball, and I think 10 completions is a fair over/under.
