This is just nuts. Police arrested some cat turd sandwich named Brandon McGlover on suspicion of starting what turned into the mother-lode along with several other small fires and then it just jumped all over. Life in prison, thanks. The fire(s) would've ignited on their own at some point given the conditions, but with a far better overall chance of containment. What is it with people who do this crap?

Looting also going on now, one arrest. Be safe to anyone on here who lives there. I PMd TommyJ and also spoke with a good friend of mine who wasn't in the line of, er, fire, but that could change on a dime. Blessings and GTFO if you're told to GTFO.

thankyou Jetophile, and good looking out! luckily im literally right on the water, when there are fires, from the santa ana winds or set by some fuckin' antediluvian cretin like Squire McGlover mentioned above, they have never been near my beautiful Newport beach. It's so dry out here, and it really never does rain in southern california, nothing significant anyway, so all it takes is an asshole setting a fire, or another type of asshole flicking a cigarette out the window and kaboom! It's a tinder box and it just goes right up in flames.
Thanks again for reaching out, very cool of you, hope this finds you well, i dont think my summer could possibly be going better.

Holy Hell, I hate that shitty song! Glad you're OK. My close friend, Carlos, lives in the San Diego Bay area, and every time there's a shooting or a wildfire or insert any other catastrophe HERE, I'm on the horn immediately as if CA is smaller than Monaco. Meanwhile back at the ranch, CA is about the size of Brazil, lol. What do I know about CA, the flake capital of the free world. I've seen a lot of footage of the fire(s) and it's absolutely horrifying. An actual swirling raging fckn TORNADO of fire. It's hard to believe that the current death toll is only 6 (including two fire-fighters), and all things considered, that's amazing. Thanks for the well wishes in return. Enjoy the rest of the crap Summer. I'm not a fan of the heat and it makes me crankier than usual. Yeah, and my regular cranky is borderline murderous if that's any indication.

Is that the official weather report? Accuweather just reports "mostly sunny".

This has officially turned in to the biggest/worst wildfire in CA history. It was #7, quickly jumped to #2, and it's now #1. Over 600,000 acres laid to waste with no end in sight. Aussies fire-fighters flew in and are now assisting. Unreal how bad this is.
