Can Dolfags help us out by beating the Gaytriots again this coming weekend?

If they do it by the Wildcat, it's going to be fucking hilarious.

I don't think we'll be running the Wildcat much. BB will look like a total donkey if he gets smoked by it again. In fact that's what he's going to be doing all week... working with the D unit so it doesn't happen.

We need the Pats to win. It would be a big deal in terms of the tie breakers, making the division record all ours and not shared with anyone. Miami wins, they might be in 2nd due to the head to head, but everything else would be tied.

Go Pats. Pats have to play PIT later on in the season.

If we win we'll definitely be in 2nd and 3-1 in the division. I agree the Jets need to cheer for the Patriots, Miami has an easier schedule and the last thing you want is Week 17 to matter in terms of the division.

Don't they both have the same record and division record right now? How does a Miami win help us? Personally I'd rather Miami have the better record given the fact that we face them week 17 in the meadowlands. I'd also rather face Miami in the playoffs than NE.

A tie would be the best scenario.

If we beat the Patriots and you lose to the Titans, we're both 7-4. You own the tiebreaker but that makes Week 17 way more important than it currently is. If we go neck and neck to 17 that's not what I would want as Jets fan if say we're both 10-5 going into that game.

yeah i'm gonna have to root for miami for those reasons. thats why i was so pissed when they beat oakland on sunday, that would've set it up nicely for us.

I wouldn't mind that scenario at all. We own the Lphins and it's in the Meadowlands.

Obviously I'd prefer to have the division wrapped up by then.

Only if we lost to the Titans. If we win we still have the conference record and head to head. I hope Miami wins.

Those trends don't really matter when you look at a single game though. I mean if we had the knuckleheads of the past decade coaching sure, but this is a different team

That's very true. You couldn't beat us at home when it was 90+ degrees and our team was supposed to melt in the 4th Q though. What will happen when it's 20 degrees with 15 MPH winds?

    You aren't running on us.

True, that run D is scary. Chad will just have to step up. He's been doing great when we need him the most.

I'm going to agree with this and Don.

We win Sunday and we remain in the driver's seat.

I don't fear the fish in the cold. The 28th should be for a higher seed.

That scenario is not one that worries me. I would prefer to have it wrapped up at that point though.

if it comes down to division record, you want the pats to win on sunday.

The Jets will have a 5-1 division record, and everyone else will have a maximum 4-2 at the end of the season. I'll take the Pats next week.

It knocks Miami down and they won't be near the Jets when it comes to WL record. The Pats will get knocked down by PIT next week. They'll pummel Cassel. The Jets will beat Denver that day with their awful defense and they have to play across the country.

I doubt the wildcat will be anywhere near as effective, the reason it worked so well the first time is that the Patriots had never practiced stopping it, tht isn't an easy adjustment to make in game, but teams that have practiced against it have been pretty effective at stopping it in recent weeks, I expect the dolphins to run it some, to test all the backups now in the LB core, but I think they'll probabyl try to throw more.

NE is a bigger threat to the division and in the playoffs, I don't care what the schedule is like for the Dolphins the rest of the way, I'd much rather see the Dolphins make the playoffs then the Pats.

seriously does Miami scare anyone having to come into the Meadowlands in the dead of the winter? Go Phins, ugh.
