Point #1 - the Patriots have had the Colts number with a unique defensive scheme. Managini helped with that plan Point #2 - the Chargers have defeated the colts with a better offensive game plan in the last two meetings. B. Shottenheimer helped with that plan Now we have a jets team that has given up rush yards and a colts team without a running game, the jets have been great with pass defense, so i really think the elements are their for an upset. Go Jets!!
i just hope this isn't one of those games that we are down 17-0 before we know it and with peyton and the rest of that offense you never know
Yeah, I thought of that too, but after the Patriot game, I think I'll always believe that we can come back.
its just going to be so hard to come back like we did against the pats cause the colts offense won't stop
yea.. i agree... but i just can't see where that pressure is going to come from.. we need bryan thomas to step up
Nice positives...But the Jets clearly do not have the 3-4 defense of New England or San Diego. The Jets are lacking that true NT(RASHAD MOORE!!) and pass-rushing OLB to wreak havoc...
if our defense plays as opportunisticly (word?) as they did in our 2 wins, we have a shot. we def need to put peyton on the ground a lot. hopefully they spring barton loose and come with kerry on those backsider blitzes. the colts are pretty banged up, and if we can really execute, and find our running game (colts are 28th vs run) mangini can get us this win. it's wierd, because this is the first big test for the D, and if I know anything, I know they are prepared to win the game. prepared for anything the colts and/or manning will throw at them. I'm still cautiously optamistic, but confident that our boys wont be confused on the field, and the game will be properly managed, something that hasnt really happened since tuna tits was here. :jets: :manning:  :breakdance:
Im gonna throw on the Vilma jersey tomorrow and pregame with some friends. Then get pumped as every second tics to game time. J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets
thats a beautiful photo. the shutout in the meadowlands!!!! FUCK PEYTON MANNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!:manning: :manning: :manning:
I know we must play an A game to just have the chance to win. I cant but find myself falling into that Jets trap of putting some expectation on this team. I am not expecting victory tomorrow, but I think we should be in it at the end
definitely. mistakes need to be at a minimum. i don't see us being outplayed, or out-hustled, as long as they play at the level they can, no doubt the game will be close. I know what you mean about falling into the trap.....I've learned through the heartache that I usually go from cautiously optomistic, to expectations too quickly, and then thats when they lay a shit and crush my soul. so far my soul is in-tact.... here's to hoping it stays that way.
this is defintily one of those games where you can't have high expectations going into it... i will never say that we can't win because i think that anything can happen... but this is the least winnable game on the schedule
I can only hope to see what this forum will look like if the Jets win and look impressive. Getting way ahead of my suck, I just want to continue to see that passion , hustle and crisp play we've seen in the previous weeks.
