I know this has been addressed, but it seems that once he gets in a groove he starts gaining some serious yardage. He gets going then you don't see him again. He also seems to bring the hurt to the defense when they do tackle him. Also, as they were just discussing on ESPN 1050, they keep running LT up in the middle when he'e not really a bruising runner and more outside the tackles and swing passes.
Well, this is how it works - once we started seeing some success running Shonn Greene up the middle, we had to change our game plan before they found a way to stop him. You can't just go out and exploit a team's weaknesses - that's just what they'll be expecting
Running game wasn't the issue last night. They were able to do that with success, but they decided to go another route. You sure can go out and exploit a weakness. Ask Tom Brady, he exploited ours from the gun
LT has as many fumbles as Greene does this year. LT has 23 more carries and a ton more catches and a proven track record of not being a fumbler but they both have the same amount of fumbles this year.
I watched Shonn play for 2 seasons with the Hawkeyes and do not recall him fumbling once. I'm not sure what the deal is but I think if he played more you'd see a far superior player than you have so far.
I was wondering the exact same thing and actually said it to my friend watching the game last night. Shonn was running the ball well and they should've given him the ball a lot more. (This is before it turned into a blowout).

Because Shotty sucks....... and maybe because he fumbled once or twice. Even though LT fumbled a few times also.
When Greene did get carries he gained alot of yardage... I think it's time to give Greene the load instead of 50-50... It's getting coldr and colder and Greene is getting stronger
Greene will get more carries than LT now that it's cold and late in the season. He did get more carries yesterday, and it's tough to run a lot when you're down by 17 in minutes.
I thought I jinxed him when I bought his jersey. Schotty just does mysterious things sometimes but I suppose that's what "geniuses" do now and again..
Schotty thinks way too much instead of keeping it simple stupid. He doesn't know how to ride a train until the wheels fall off.
I felt the same way. I got the jersey on opening night, and watched him fumble twice and drop a pass. Almost burnt the damn thing.
This is a piss poor excuse. Last nights game with the weather and everything, it was a SHONN GREENE running game.
