I feel like the Jets have a better roster/talent, but Daboll is 3-4 wins better than Saleh as a coach.

    does anyone else agree?

I give the Giants a ton of credit for coming back last week but they still fell behind big against a bad Cards team in the 1st half. We saw what the Cowboys did to them. They are probably getting blown out tonight against SF. I don't think Daboll will be 3-4 wins better than Saleh this year. Its early but I think the Giants will take a step back this season from what they did last year.

The Giants will beat SF tonight IMO. Daboll will have them ready to go.

That would be a huge upset if it did happen. Barkley isn't playing and SF is arguably the best team in the league. Plus, it's their home opener. I don't think the Giants have a shot tonight, but we will see what happens.

easier schedule and less important injuries last year. also i'd argue daboll is just a better coach. they did get rolled by dallas 40-0 opening day though and needed a miracle to come back and beat a bottom 3 team in the NFL so they don't look good at all this year despite being completely healthy. they overpaid jones, have no WRs still, barkley just got hurt yet again, their D is weak. their o-line has underperformed as well. neal looks like a bust at RT so far despite being picked 7th overall last year and KT didn't even register a tackle and is looking like a bust despite being 5th overall pick last year. we picked sauce at 4 and GW at 10 in the same draft and they were both rookies of the year and sauce was a pro bowler

Great organization. You have to pay franchise QB's like Danny Dimes. Hall of Famer.

Ahhhh.. things are making more sense now with this thread. I'm sure the Giants have a forum of their own to go hang out In. Just sayin..

The Giants did not have an easier schedule. They played a lot of common opponents on top of the fact that the division had three playoff teams.

They also won a ton of close games with a -6 point differential. That’s the sign of a good coach. They also had virtually no cap flexibility in either of the past two off-seasons.

Cmon now ..Daboll is much better than Roberta Saleh. Another whiff on getting a decent coaching staff…The Johnsons also wanted Adam Gase over a SB winner M McCarthy ..just immense stupidity all over

But Saleh was also the non threatening character JD had to install..he’s selfish imo

I’ve always felt Saleh was in over his head as a head coach. He learned under Gus Bradley who was also an awful head coach.

Saleh a worse coach than even gase , he had a better roster than gase in 2019 last year and gase still had a better record. Saleh is trash and besides being a chearleader he brings nothing to this team. Saleh lost 2x more games as coach than he won, think about that. Thats pretty hard to do

I don't think the Giants are better then the Jets across the board, QB and coach really matter.

Our coach is still sort of in JAG territory, and our QB situation is vomit. Daboll had a track record dating to at least buffalo and their QB is not vomit.

This is the thread someone who hates Saleh makes. We got a bunch of those type here, good for you.

I think the Giants are grossly overrated this year. It's not that I dislike the Giants, actually I would say if you broke my friends into fandom most are Giant fans so I see them a bit. But last season and WFAN being filled with loud mouth Giant fans and Tiki the cool aid was definitely drank.

Daboll is a very good coach but the breaks need to be pumped a bit.

And the Jets played 4 backup Qb's also easier schedule my ass. Fact is they made the playoffs with a inferior roster while our coach choked the last 6 games away like the bufoon that he is.

If this was the Jets we would get a new thread about how the QB and HC coach needs to go and if you take away the 2nd half last week they scored 3 points all year.
