    Favre or Testaverde?

Just to lighten the mood...and being bored.

I think Vinnie would win by a nose..

Well we can always have them play tag. Put Favre behind center and Gholston at OLB...no way Gholston ever gets to him

Just to clarify, Vinny in his athletic prime vs Favre in his athletic prime? OR mid-to-late 30s Vinny Vs. mid-to-late 30s Favre? (LOL)

In the latter case, I would think it would be really close and I'm not sure who would win. Part of the trouble in analyzing confidently is that Favre shows such a trepidation about srambling in his later years. (I, along with many others, have pointed out that he seems to avoid scrambling like the plague, even in situations when there is ample room in front of him) Because of this, we almost never get to see him run. And even on that bootleg (awesome playcall, btw), he seemed to run very cautiously and I didn't think he was running as fast as he could . . . it certainly didn't seem like he was in a dead sprint (this was just my perception, I could easily be wrong). My guess is, with Vinny and Favre both in their athletic decline, Vinny's longer legs and longer stride would give him a slight edge.

In the first case, I don't think there is any doubt that Favre would smoke Vinny. Favre, in his athletic prime, could really run quite well. (People often foget that he was one of the more dangerous scramblers in the league in his early years)

A better contrast is with Joe Willie. Pre-surgery (at Alabama) he could possibly take young Favre; the 1975 version couldn't beat Westhoff in a race.

I think you'd have to compare the 2008 version of Favre against the 2008 version of Vinny.

I'd like to think Favre wins but this could be an amusing stunt at a pre-game show to come.

Vinny would win, but only if you count the six inches past his helmet.

Before Vinny tore his achilles he was very mobile but even after his achilles tear he'd still beat Favre in a race- Favre is that slow right now.

Why is it easier to spell Favre for some posters than Vinny?

Vince Wilfork v. Chris Jenkins v. Sam Adams v. Warren Sapp- all in their prime. Which of them is the least slow?

Sam Adams was EASILY the slowest.

To answer your question, I'd say Sapp was probably the "least slow" DT you listed.
