Personally, I dont think it will be Favre. Favre wouldnt be able to do anything without an Oline, so i think Faneca should certainly be considered. But i think it will be Kris Jenkins. I think with that big body in the middle, eating up blockers, our athletic OLBs and Kerry Rhodes will be able to get to the QB.

    Anyways, discuss

It's gotta be Faneca or Jenkins. We couldn't run/pass block, or pass rush/stop the run last year. I suppose only time will tell which one is more valuable.

I have to go with Favre on this one, he utterly destroys the way our division rivals have been preparing for the Jets this year. My vote yesterday would have been for Kris Jenkins, and he may actually end up providing more impact for the team, although he would have to be amazing to do that.

Agree on it being Faneca or Jenkins. Both, if living up to their potential, will be huge. But I ultimately voted Jenkins because his impact will affect ALL parts of our defense.

I say Favre, not for playing value, but for the leadership role he will play.

    Jenkins

If he does what I hope he will, he makes everyone around him better and turns our D into a top 10 (or better) defense. Others will shine more brightly, but he will be the reason they're free to do so.

Technically Favre should be disqualified becuase he wasn't an "offseason" acquisition.

I voted for Jenkins. His wide body and mean demeanor should do wonders for the Defense. Let's make this a tough D with a smack your face running game with the occasional downfield pass.

I'm going to tentatively say Favre, because he COMPLETELY changes the way this offense functions and looks to opposing teams.

Jenkins is a strong #2, as he should vastly improve our DL. However, good or bad, I think Favre has the biggest impact on the team itself.
