probably none unless we go on a winning streak and become the exciting team we were the first few weeks. the only non divisional game maybe worth broadcasting would be vs the vikes. and thats if both of us continue to at least have some success. even then I'm sure theres plenty of other games more worthwhile, at least in terms of profitability for the networks.
The funny thing in all this was all the experts were saying that the MNF FB game between us & MIA was supposed to be MIA stepping stone to the SB & now it turns out maybe our stepping stone to the POs instead
The strange unpredictable world of football. I don't know too many people who thought that Miami would be bad, let alone awefull.
I don't know any names, but a lot of people on this board here thought they were vastly overrated including myself. Did I think they would be 1-5, no, but I didn't think they were playoff bound either.
Why would the Giants/Bears game have an affect on our game? Is there some rule that I don't know about? Just curious. Looking at the schedule, the Jets/Bears game is still the one I'm worried about as a season ticket holder, but maybe I'm missing something. Personally, I love the 1:00 games the best....
I have some friends from Chicago coming in for that one, we're going to tailgate. I was hoping they don't make that a night game, they fly out the next morning. I doubt they'd schedule the Bears for two Sunday night games in a row at the same stadium.
Funny the Bears go to the Meadowlands twice and New England the week after. No way they're getting out of that undefeated
I read after week 4 that FOX blocked the Jets and Bears game from moving to Sunday night. I'll get the article here in a second.
Ever notice that out of division teams that play the Jets and Giants at the Meadowlands in the same season almost always get the Giants first. This year, Indy and Chicago both come twice, and both get the Giants first, then us. You gotta figure it's a little easier to play in an away stadium the second time, especially when it's either the follwing week like it'll be for the Bears or in the same month like for Indy. Let us play a team first for once.....dammit!
that will be a good game. I would love it if the bears come in undefeated to play us and we beat them after they just smoked the giants
I have noticed that. Probably some more hidden bullshit the Giants have worked into the current deal. Maybe. For Jets-Bears and Giants-Bears, I couldn't imagine FOX giving up the #1 and #2 TV markets in the league on consecutive weeks.
That's the last week before they can move the games, it's on Nov 12, set for 1 pm. Chicago was probably the most likely one before they moved the Giants game. All the rest of the teams we play after Nov 19 are pretty bad. Which is good.
The jet/bears game cant be moved to sunday night as the networks protected it, the only other game i could see is against the pats
