Everyone is reporting that someone from the Yankees flew to Arkansas today to try and woo Clff Lee. As a Yankees fan this is pretty damn exciting but I know this drama isn't gonna end anytime soon. Just wondering where people think he's gonna sign.

    Boston? IDK about that.

They have a hard on for Werth and probably another bat.

    I'm going homer, taking NYY.

I think the Montreal Expos will do everything they can to prevent that signing...

Red Sox will not be a major player in this. They have more serious issues on offense.

I agree their issues are offense, but the World Series proved pitching wins.

Phillies - 2 year master plan when they seemingly replaced him with Doc.
They can have their cake and eat it too. I think.

To me it comes down to what his wife thinks. Even if the spitting thing got blown out of proportion (and it did), it still had an effect on what she thinks of Yankee fans and thus NYC. Lee could just be using the yanks to raise his market price knowing his wife will not agree to the yanks. IDK for sure but yankee fans for the first time now have to consider if their stupid antics will effect their team getting a top free agent. Maybe that is a good thing!

Green Lantern wins and the Yankees lose.............

Listen to my Sports week fellas:
-Jets go from 9-2 to 9-4 with two embarressing losses to Patriots and Dolphins
-Capitals lose SIX in a row including 7-0 loss to Rangers on Sunday.
-Red Sox aquire Gonzalez and Crawford.
    -Yankees lose out on Lee.

    Worst week ever?

Swap the Capitals bullshit with "lost in semi-finals of fantasy playoffs" and you have mine. The Oil also lost to the gayass Canucks last night. Just a dreadful turn of events....

I would buy you a 12 pack if I knew you, awesome job dude. I didn't even think of the Philys having a legit shot, and I like to think this is my most knowledgeable sport.

    Impressive work, Lantern.

Bad news for the Yankees, worse news for the Mets.
