my first jet game was december 10,1983 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.it was the last game played at shea stadium.the jets got creamed but I didn't care.I was 6 years old and with my dad and his friends,tailgating late into the night. I still throw up before every home game b/c of the excitement of the whole day.
last year vs the chargers...with 2 aussie mates yelling 'Graham is a legend' all day to the bemusement of the ppl around us...oh and we were on the gas for sure
I dont remember my first game, if I looked it up im sure I could figure it out. The first game I really remember is losing to the Dolphins the 1-15 year. I also remember the playoff game against the Jags in '98.
It was 1994. The jets and bills. It was the game that mo lewis hit don bebe so hard, he was knocked out and he was laying on his back but his arm was still pointing up, very scary though. The jets won but i don't remember the score. I also think that was the game when ronnie lott got his clock cleaned and jets fans were cheering when he was down. I knew then that these fans were friggin insane.
First game ever was the 2001 home opener vs the Colts...it was also Herman Edwards first game as a head coach.
My first game, was Baltimore vs jets. Vinny testaverde was QB for the ravens, and Neil O'Donnell was QB for the jets, i cant remember the year..i think it was november '97 but i just cant recall.., i remember the game was rainy, and O'donnell sucked in it, the crowd started chanting "Foley" halfway through the game. The jets ended up winning in OT, and id like to say it was a michael jackson fumble that gave us the momemtum but i cant remember.
I've been to a few preseason games, I won't count them though. The first one I remember was vs. the Vikings in 02. One of Chad's first starts, and his first career 300+ yard game. I remember it so well because I was tailgating with my dad's friends, and they did a pool, 10 bucks to enter, predict the total points scored, and the winner. I put 31, Jets. the final score was 21-10 Jets, I believe and I took home 180 bucks! Ha! Another game I remember was the Jets/Steelers in the Snow a few years ago. That shit was fun!
