Vick is still a good qb his only bad doing was his health. He got injured. He is still a far superior qb than geno. I know a source that has been at the Jets OTAS and they said Vick looks way sharper than geno its not even close. Remember i watched both qbs last season. Vick is right. Its not an open competition, its laughable that he had to change his number. Jets FO can mislead you fans all they want, but you are sadly mistaken. Foles is a better qb than Vick heck, Vick beat him out, yes our qb Nick Foles who btw was the only other qb in the league to throw 7tds in a game,besides Peyton freakin Manning which was what sealed Vicks fate as the Eagles starter. Oh yeah those talkin about hes old the guy still runs a 4.4 guess you missed the 60 yard run he had against the chiefs last season. God i wish we kept Vick as a back up, he was a good team leader and mentor to Foles. GENO WILL NOT BE YOUR STARTER, I CANT BELIEVE THAT YOU GUYS THINK HE WILL BEAT OUT VICK HAHAHAHA! "YOUR STARTER". That kind of jibes with your other 4 posts being about Vick. Don't get me wrong, I think Vick is the best suited QB on the roster to compete this year, but you seem to have ulterior motives.
I honestly don't care who the QB is. I am perfectly fine with either one starting. I am just relieved we don't have Sanchez/Tebow on this roster. Those were some dark days.
Not quite,but im definitely gonna tune in to watch the Jets, Vick is one exciting player to watch hes far more accurate than Geno.Your team is very lucky to have Vick and CJ and the receiver youve got Vick is made for this offense check his stats in martys offensive scheme
If your only posts on this forum are about Vick and you admit that you will only tune in to Jets games because of him, then I was quite right.
Thank god there's only one Vick (fake Jets) fan. A few years ago we had hundreds of Tebowites infest our forum. Only took a year to get rid of them, though. If Vick wins the starting job I will, of course, support him. But why don't we let the competition unfold and not make unintelligible threads.
People forget how ineffective Vick was last season with some serious weapons in Philly. IF he does beat out Geno then we have some serious problems. At this point of his career Vick is much more useful as a backup/decoy option.
With all the other reporters at OTAs, I would think they would all be reporting that if it were true. I only remember one day where anyone reported that Vick was looking good and/or better than Geno. As close as the QB competition has been watched the last few years, there is no way these reporters wouldn't be all over it if Vick was truly looking that much better than Geno. I don't see how it is laughable that Vick had to change his number. He was the new guy. The Jets were already selling jerseys with Geno's name on them with number 7 for over a year. Why change that when Vick might only be here for one year? LOL! Vick might be better than Geno at a lot of things, but accuracy is definitely not one of them.
unless a qb is throwing tebow dirt missles nothing that happened in OTAs is worth analyzing or discussing really. They're playing in shells against a lot of air with notackling or hitting and going over the system.
Honestly, I'm just happy that our qb competition does not include the following: McElroy Garrard Clemens Tebow Sanchez
