What was the worst feeling for pats fans?

    1) 18-1?

    2) Finding out that your three superbowl wins were tainted?

    3) 14-2 season, averaging 30+ points a game, #1 seed and losing to the jets in the playoffs?

They aren't fans on bad days, so the answer is none.

It's gotta be the Giants Super Bowl loss...

They had 19-0 but they allowed Eli Manning *hahahahahahahahahahahah* to make a throw that led to the Tyree catch...

None of them give a shit about number 2.

Number 3 will sting until the Sox training camp in about 6 weeks.

I can only imagine what it's like to cheer for that team. The minute things go badly they are all run for their cars. They have become like the atlanta braves fans.

could really be anything and everything before 2000.

im going to go with 624 on this one though.

1,3,2. Most Patriots fans don't care about #2.

Realizing yesterday that there was a good reason why the Jets got rid of Danny Woodhead.

Worst day for me was easily the 1985 Superbowl because they were flat out embarassed in front of the world. Then the 1996 Superbowl when Parcells was coaching the Superbowl with the only storyline being that he was leaving the Patriots... I actually don't consider the video taping thing significant to anyone but people reaching for excuses...the Giants loss neither was as bad... the Giants deserved to win that game plain and simple. And yesterday the Jets were clearly the superior team. When you get beat up at the line of scrimmage you don't deserve to win the game... and if you're not the better team how can you be upset with a loss?

Well to find out you have to go directly to the source. I have read some Patriots fans saying that this worse was worse than 42. They also said they cried after this loss.

But they are all banwagoners so who cares, they are the most disgraceful fans ever. None of them are real. None. Even the ones who were fans before the 3 rings, were banwagoners from the Super Bowl 31 when the Patriots got whipped by Favre.

Christ and some of you guys accuse Pats fans of not knowing a thing about the history of their franchise. 18-1? Sucked, sure, awful, gutwrenching loss. The Asante Samuel drop actually pisses me off way more than the Tyree helmet catch and I hate that frontrunning bitch for that drop to this day. But the end of that season was like thinking you are about to have a Charlie Sheen style 3way with a bunch of super models only to find out it was a practical joke and being left with a severe case of blue balls. The '70s were like having your balls just stomped on the entire time and there were plenty of specific low points.

This was one playoff game, huge one to be sure, but the team spent a lot of the year overachieving with rookies and in hindsight it shouldn't be that surprising that there was a huge let down against a team with as many talented veterans as the Jets. There's still Brady, a really impressive group of rookies and 2nd year players who are still improving and adjusting, and a bunch of picks. Unless Brady suffered a career ending injury yesterday nothing about that could have approached the shit from the late '70s. Part of what made this year so fun for the Pats was that it felt like Belichick was completely pulling this one out if his has ( really winning 4 more than anyone expected with a defense that relied on a rookie to play as the number 1 corner and relying on two UFA's to provide a running game). As it turns out, this was kind of pulled out of his ass. There's been some troubling signs about how much Belichick really has an edge as an in-game manager and strategy guy with the last 3 playoff loses, but most good teams have their years end in a loss and Belichick is still absolutely at the top of his game as a g.m.

It's easily the SB loss. That was the grande stage.

I'm sure this one stings too.

Suck day for Pats fans, for sure. I don't see that as being as embarrassing to be honest, that Pats team was waaaaay over-achieving. They had no business in that game whatsoever. The Jets really let one get away from them that year when they dropped that game to the Pats. The Jets team that year was a lot better matchup to beat the 85 Bears. I think we lost 16-9 to them that year as it was. I was really hoping for a rematch in the Super Bowl that year.
