    DeSalvo pitches A GEM...

Farnsworthless DOES HIS JOB and comes in, Posada CLEARLY throws out Bloomquist and the umpire calls him safe. And of course Johjima gets a bloop hit.

Now Mo comes in and serves a bomb to Beltre.

What a joke that call was. Bad pitch by Mariano

Jeter in scoring position on a wild pitch.

Abreu has been horrible tonight, yet another RBI chance for Bobby.

Abreu is shot. What a piece of garbage, drop him from the 2-slot ASAP.

Shitty call by Gerry Davis, sick loss.

It's ok, St. Roger will be here soon to save the Franchise.

but the Yankees got jobbed on that call at 2nd. Dude was out by a mile.

Whats with Mariano letting up a home run, I thought he was supposed to be automatic?

As his situation has been the entire season, he has just been BAD.

Simple as that, but I love that you try so hard to rib the Yankees...You're almost pretty good at it.

    It was horrible.

I'm stunned that nobody protested, flat out horrible call.

Mariano and Abreu huge goats tonight.

Abreu is such a freaking waste. He and Meintkiewiczleytzsch should be swapped in the batting order.

sorry guys, but i'm from the seattle area, and am a huge seattle fan, except my crazy love for the jets...willie was totally out, but shit happens...there have been a couple calls in the yanks favor the last two games...and don't blame the umps...if the yankees "all-star" offense could hit, they have killed the Ms...

As much as everyone is so quick to blame the umps, which is understandable, it's not their fault, in a sense. The Yankees offense had numerous times to score more runs, yet they didn't. HOWEVER, when the call was blown, the Yankees had the lead still, and therefore, them not scoring more runs earlier in the game or not, it doesn't matter. The lead that the Yankees had at that given moment, was jeopardized by a blown call. Sure enough, the M's tie the game, and the M's wind up winning the game. The Yankees could have tied/won the game in the 9th, but they didn't. But still, that blown call jeopardized the lead the Yankees did earn and have.

I think it's very telling that NOBODY argued an OBVIOUSLY blown call.

Torre should of been out of the dugout.

Torre was sitting with Cashman tonight (he was suspended 1 game because of yesterday). Mattingly was the manager tonight.

Abreu sucked all night long....including his last at bat. He needs to be dropped in the order. They should move him to 6th and move everyone up one.

Mariano has been crappy since the beginning of the season.....Probably why he has stopped whining about a contract extension.

The Yanks better start looking for a closer for next year....Mariano is looking very old.

It's telling of the lack of fire, heart, pride, intensity, and dedication on this Yankee team.

You can't blow a more obvious call in all of baseball, and the Yankees as a team collectively shrugged their shoulders and went on to lose the game.

Maybe it wouldn't of changed anything, but it would of at least showed that they care.

Of course, Yankee apologist will excuse the non-reaction at getting jobbed by the umps as a sign of the teams class and professionalism.

 Yeah,i'm sure you're right and they just don't care. Like Cano just said in the post game,he wasn;t going to argue and get thrown out when it's not going to change anything. The manager is already out of the game serving his suspension, maybe that also had something to do with it. Or maybe everyone other than Cano thought he must have missed the tag due to the view angle for everyone else.

I've had Abreu riding the bench on my fantasy team for a month, he sucks, but I don't want to let him go in case he does wake up. What are the chances of that happening? It sounds like I should dump him.
