To me, it felt like a blow out, and we had our WRs make 2 huge plays. I never really thought we were really in the game, even when it was 24-17.
aweful first half. great comeback that fell short. Chad led us back but the D just couldnt stop the third down tries for the pats
so we werent in it when it was 3rd and 7 and a defensive stop get us the ball back????????????????????????????????????????
defense definatly looked gassed at the end...running game needs to step up to help out the D and chad
Putrid first half, but we played great in the second, and that shows pride in this team and leaves me satisfied for now. We just gotta beat the bills and get back above .500.
I thought so too, before the second half began. A corner was definitely turned at halftime. For the season, not just the game. Now I'm just sad I won't get to see the game next week.
Very upset in the first half..........then extremely happy in the 2nd.....Our team showed that were tough and we have heart. Brady looked pretty shaken after we got him. I wish there was still a quarter left to play cause we had the momentum big time.
I'm proud of how they came back...and hope they can turn their play from this game into a nice little run. Hopefully they come back next week and beat up the Bills badly, and then maybe pull out a suprise win at home against Indy
I was very encouraged with how we played. NE is so much better than us on both sides of the line it's not even close. That said we got excellent QB play, excellent WR and TE play and when Jones came in at guard our pass blocking improved dramatically. We may have found a starter in Jones. NE has a huge and dominating OL and they pushed us around opening the game. We made some great half time adjustments and played with them in the second half until we ran out of gas. We don't play the Pats every week but even if we did the team grew up alot today. They hung together they made big plays all over the place on both sides of the ball. The real difference in this game is experience, size and power on both sides of the line. Brick, Jones and Mangold played really well. Other than Coleman the secondary played well. D'Rob was abused as was the right side of our OL. If you switched D'Rob with Wolfork our D is a completely diffrent animal. love what we are trying to do on O and the adjustments we made on both sides of the ball. Next week we are going to play a solid if unspectacular Buffalo team on the road. I expect if we can hang in during the first 15 minutes we will have a great shot to win and keep our playoff chances alive.
I'm proud of the comeback but very dissapointed that we failed to stop the Pats running game at all and that Mangini acted like a regular Herm Edwards with his clock management. It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth because it's one that we could've had.
I think it was the most satisfying loss to the Patriots i have ever seen(if that makes sense.) I had already settled with the loss and then we made a very valiant attempt at a comeback which is something that gives me hope for the future. With a young rebuilding team we could play level with a veteran super bowl type team
i would say, disapointment, because: a) lack of execution. ben grahms punts and a couple defensive penalties really hurt us. b) defense underacheiving. just not playing well enough, period. kerry rhodes was the only player who impressed me. c) run game pitiful. our WRs played great, i think LC could be a pro-bowler this year, but no run whatsoever. we need that run, to set up a more effective offense. all that sed, even tho we showed some heart and made it a game, if these three themes continue, esp B and C, were not going to put ourselves in position to win many games this year.
I'm very proud at the comeback effort. New England is a clear-cut better team then us, but we didn't give up when we were down 24-0. Mangini is obviously doing a good job keeping guys motivated even when down big, and that'll be useful when we're competitive in a few years.
"Proud of the effort we made in the comeback attempt" But I am dissapointed in how we played the 1st half.
I chose "other" This team isn't great, but they're not nearly as bad as most people expected. Not by a long shot. Mangini has the ship moving in the right direction. Kudos. Once again we have a coach that knows how to coach.
