    Doesn't seem like a joke. I heard it from M&M on WFAN, who got their news from ESPN News. I know it's not exactly the most credible of sources, but I don't think they'd make a speculation like that without being sure.

    Thats not even funny. The man DIED. It has nothing to do with headlines. It has to do with an innocent man losing his life.

    RIP Cory. I feel terrible for him and his family and everyone around him.

    It's on CNN Joe Torre is on right now..... this is terrible news even if you are not a Yankee fan. My heart goes out to him and his Yankee family.

    New York Yankees pitcher Cory Lidle was the pilot of a small airplane that crashed into a 50-story condominium in Manhattan, and Lidle is one of two confirmed dead, New York police said.
