Ted Ginn JR...but anyway were not taking a WR if were towards the top of the draft. We have much more dire needs than WR, especially with a future 1-2 punch of Cotch and Smith
But add Calvin Johnson in the mix and defenses will be stretched. Grab one of the "second tier" RBs at the top of round 2 (Kenneth Darby, Kenny Irons, or Tony Hunt) and we got ourselves an offense!
Neither one of those guys (Cotchery or Smith) project to be more than an average #2. I don't think we'll take one of those names if we have a top 5 pick though.
A bit early to say seeing neither has had any real game experience yet, especially Brad Smith. He may turn out to be special, who knows....
I hate how people still want to talk about who were taking in the draft! We haven't even played a reg. season game. Lets worry about the draft later! Jets 24 Tenn 10! 1-0 baby!
You're probably right about Cotchery, but it's impossible to project Brad Smith at this point. Chances are, you are right, but there is no basis or means to rank Smith's upside at this point.
