Listen up Ladies, Watching the defense made me seriously nauseous like the rest of you....I cussed like a drunken sailor at the TV on every defensive series. But you know what......the guy we brought in to be our #1 Wideout played stellar (with only being here for a few days).....Sanchez, despite being a rookie, still put up 27 points on the road, against a tough D. Leon Washington looked great.....and our Special Teams pulled some tricks out of their sleeves that paid off nicely. I hate losing.....but it's not the end of the world....and it's CERTAINLY NOT the "same old Jets"....I refuse to buy into that bullshit. Rex will come back with a vengeance.....this is a proud team.....hopefully they'll get the Pass Rush going next week against the Bills. I still have faith in Rex, in this team......and more importantly....we're still in the heat of the divisional race.
yeah, pretty much sums up what i'm hoping for. We play in a tough division, its just depressing to see what many thought was our best aspect, the defense, roll over so easily after stopping much better offenses
The D was terrible, yes.....and Rex obviously got caught "flatfooted"......but you know he's gonna be back in the film room, conjuring up some new schemes. Rex will adapt, 2K.......this isn't Mangini.
Come on guys, it's a tough loss. We had the chance to leading the division (despite the Pats bad game) with a win tonight..now we're back to earth. Yeah, we have some easy games now, but i'm not too sure than yesterday about this defense.
im putting it this way..... the dolphins are still 2-3. They are not a threat. I'm sure next time around our defense won't be so soft.

First of all...there is no such thing as an "easy" game....I learned that lesson last year when we lost to Oakland. Secondly....we're still in first.....but we have to play with bigger sense of urgency. Rex and Pettine need to figure out something to stop that Wildcat....the Phins will be coming up to NJ in a few weeks to play us again......we can't have a repeat performance. Like I said, I firmly believe Rex will adapt....and figure out a way to stop that wildcat.

exactly.. cause there will be a next time.. in like three weeks.. and when we take that game.. the series is tied.. we NEED to win these next two games though.. raiders and bills..
fuck that shit.... at the beginning of the year...we had this team pegged to finish 8-8 or worse........I think we're a better team than that.....but it won't happen without a few bumps in the road. If the Jets turtle next week against the Bills....then there will be cause for REAL concern....
Agreed, it stings but Miami played a great game and had a great game plan. But we are 3-2 and atop of the AFC east....let's destroy the Bills!
