we beat the cowboys because romo decided to choke again, still played like shit for 3 quarters we beat the jaguars who just suck we beat the dolphins- still didnt get a first down till the 2nd quarter we beat the chargers despite playing like crap for 2 quarters we beat an overrated bills team against good teams this yr we lost to the raiders who ran all over us we got carved up twice by the patriots we were bent over and raped by the ravens the team was great in 09 and 10 and were championship caliber teams but the party is over at least for this yr

holy shit didnt we hear that last year? and we ended up in the AFC Championship game. I still think we can do this,

We're good while we're kinda flying under the radar and have the underdog role to us, but when we're clear favorites and the media starts talking about us the team just seem to implode. Same thing happened last season going 9-2 to the Pats game, same thing going to the AFCGG and same thing happens tonite. Unbelievable...
I guess you won't be watching Jets football for the rest of the year since this thing is over...For me, this isn't over until they are either mathematically eliminated or lose in the playoffs/Superbowl. The Pats are still a very good team as long as #12 is back there. If the Jets meet them in the playoffs again and win, then moments like these mean nothing. I don't care if they win the division or get in by Wildcard. Get in, and win the thing. If not, try again next year....like they always do unfortunately.
We aren't overrated. We have 2 obvious people that are holding the ENTIRE team back. Schotty and Sanchez. This team as a whole is ready to win a championship minus Sanchez, he simply is not, he was pitted against the worst defense in the league and he failed miserably. Had we won this game we could have had the #1 seed in the conference, and now we are scrapping for a 6th seed again. Rex has been the best thing that has happened to this organization since Namath and we are squandering his talent as a coach with an overpaid QB, who simply isn't ready to be good at his position let alone great. Its too bad the Steelers weren't seriously open to trading Roethlisberger after his second assault charge, we probably would be going for a threepeat this year had we had him.

We will not make the playoffs making 10-15 mental mistakes like we did there. Stupid penalties, muffed punts, bad passes and horrible playcalling. Good thing is that is the best game they have played all season and we played awful. How many times can we blow a coverage assignment or can D'Brickashaw just look like he was straight up not trying. This game is just like 45-3 game last year. We will be fine and I think we should make the playoffs still.
The Jets won't get credit until the Lombardi trophy has been hoisted by the team. Shoot, even if that happens, somebody will find some way to damper it.
