Why are the Lions ranked so low on Fox?

    They are better than 31.

    For the lazy:

    ESPN:
19 (21) Jets 3-3-0 The Jets look like they could actually be an 8-9 win team, which will get Eric Mangini a lot of coach of the year vote

    FOX:
21 Jets 21 - 19/23 The Jets nearly blew a 20-3 fourth quarter lead, barely escaping a divisional bout with the Dolphins and winning 20-17. It wasn?t pretty, but a win?s a win. The Jets, now 3-3, are well ahead of where the experts thought they?d be at this point of the season back in August. Fireman Ed has to be pleased. J-E-T-S ? you know the rest.

    Accurate rankings at this point.

What will be interesting is to see what the "experts" do with the Jets in two weeks if they have beat Detroit and Cleveland in the interim. 5 wins in 8 games against 5 terrible teams equals what ranking?

I'm really looking forward to seeing the talking heads get put on the spot with a team that is technically unrankable. I guess I would do it by lining up from 32 down to the Jets and putting the teams that were clearly worse than them in order until you got to them.

Imagine that, the Jets determining the entire bottom half of the rankings, how appropriate. :)
