The jets game will most likely be shown here in so cal since San Diego's playing and they usually show their games where I'm at

But aside from that as a football fan I'm lookin forward to the bengals steelers game and cowboys saints.

As a 49er fan Sunday night is huge for that 2 seed and them and Green Bay are on a collision course to meet in the divisional round so home field is huge as I feel whoever wins that inevitable 49ers packers game is winning the Super Bowl this season

SoCal does get the Jets game. Makes sense, since the Chargers are the only team in the area.

NYC area only gets the Jets and Giants games, since the Jets are home at 1 PM, thus blacking out FOX.

Surprisingly last season the jets games were shown on cbs about 8-9 times last season and the jets giants game was on fox out here. I'm assuming that's party due to charger home games usually getting blacked out over here and the jets being a popular flavor of the month last season.

Aside from that fox almost always shows the NFC east teams out here, and cbs its either the chargers or the steelers mostly.

According to Jon Gruden, if you have a third down against Atlanta, you want it to be 1-3 yards

What point are you making, Gruden? It's easier to convert 3rd down if it's short yardage against Atlanta? Actually, it's easier to convert 3rd down if it's short yardage AGAINST ANY TEAM.

Gruden now says Snelling is a halfback.

Don't these guys do any preparation?

There should be websites devoted to Gruden and Maycock.

Calvin Johnson about to break Jerry Rice's single season receiving yards record.

He's only like 65 yards away now so it could happen in the second half.

They mentioned several times that Johnson needs 65 yards to break the record.

Berman at halftime says Johnson needs 64 yards to surpass Rice  (it would be 64 to tie, obviously, not break)

Bad decision by Atlanta to throw on 3rd and goal

you have to run it. Either you get a TD or Detroit is either forced to call a timeout or watch another 40 seconds come off the clock. It's a win-win. Instead they throw it incomplete.

The Falcons also could've used a lot more clock on the drive but kept snapping it early. Up two scores late, you should be running the play clock down on every play.

fitting that Johnson breaks the record in yet another Lions loss.

He once again gets a lot of yards but no touchdowns.

About 1900 yards and 5 TDs for Johnson this season.

they force feed megatron and he still can't be stopped. i would give anything to have a weapon like that on the jets.

sadly for c.j. and the lions he will probably have a career like barry sanders. arguably one of the best all time at his position and no team succes to go with it

Falcons arent getting my respect, not until they win a playoff game. I could definatly see the seahawks or redskins going into atlanta and take them apart.

Personally I feel Atlanta won't beat Green Bay or San Francisco in a playoff game for sure.

Arguably Washington, seattle, and the cowboys as well.

Pretty much til they win a playoff game they don't get no respect from me.

Atlanta just hasn't been that good this season.

Seattle, San Francisco, and the Giants have all played better overall.

So Atlanta will have home field, but the line would be at best a PK, and there's a decent chance any of those teams would be favored.
