With Vick back, and now Leonhard out for the season, this won't be as easy as it appeared just a week or two ago for the Jets.

The Jets need to play effectively, but ultimately just find anyway to keep the win streak alive, ugly or not.

The Leonhard injury concerns me a lot. True leader on the defense at an already too thin safety position, as well as the Jets only player that doesn't muff punts.

We need to gash the Eagles with Shonn Greene like we did today to the Chiefs. Also, contain Michael Vick and hit him hard and hit him often.

This is the game we need Leonhard the most. When people play the Eagles they always use a LB or safety to watch him from the middle of the field to help contain him.

really hard game, we'll need sanchez and greene to be playing at their best, and take advantage of the eagles secondary that has not been playin well

about our defense, leonhard really concerns me, and with vick back they can run and pass the football effectively, its gonna be a tough matchup

Yes Eagles are very talented and this game worries me more than the Giants.

I think we need to run the ball A LOT. Then Pressure the right side of their line because its all rookies there who have looked awful.

Their linebackers are garbage i know we can run it against them.

It is their o that scares me. we need to shut down mccoy and we should be fine.

im not worried about our safety position I feel Pool is a good fill in we have a full week to get him up to speed

Maybe find 1 CB to play SS ala Revis or Wilson?

I feel we should steadily win this game gonna be a usual nail biter

The Big issues for the Eagles all year have been poor line play on both offense and defense. This is absolutly a team we should be able to take advantage of. That does not mean we will.

"Can't Wait" for week 15. :eaglessuck:

Aaron Maybin. 6'4" 228 lb, 4.59 40, blitzer, solid tackler.

If you want someone playing center field for 100% of defensive snaps (vs 50% as a 3rd down speed rusher), run with TE's, spy Vick, run down screen plays, blitz, and lay some serious wood, here's your man.

It only took Belicheck 3 days to convert a fricken receiver to play safety against the 'Skins today!

Rex has 7 days to make this happen.

I hate to say it, but you should be. The Jets already can't cover decent tight ends. They are slow and average at the position. Now, the Jets have almost no depth. It's a big concern.

    Hopefully they will overcome.

I think if the Jets can run the ball, they'll win the game. Vick is a big play threat but our D matches up well against them.

Sacking Vick will not stop the Eagles. Extra, extra tight coverage on the WRs and a stout defense against the run will do the job. If we stop the run, and cover the WRs the Jets will win. Going for the sack against Vick on the run will not do, Vick will make you pay. Contain Vick, not pass rush and cover the WRs is whats best. Stopping the RB is also essential. Let Tom call the plays once Moore!

The Jets have still never beaten the Eagles in the regular season. Now would be a great time to do it! I think it will be a very tough game though. Jets will have have to give it their all to get the W.

Schein said it best on SNY post game.

Punch the Eagles in the mouth early and they will fold up.

14-0 by mid 2nd quarter and Philly will shut down, Vick or not in the pocket.

Keep Vick on the sidelines and the linebackers have to step up against Mccoy.

I'm afraid this will be a rough game for the Jets. McCoy will give us fits, Celek is a solid tight end, Jackson is one of those players where it doesn't matter how good you are, he is just faster. The main thing is that the Eagles defense has played much better during the 2nd half of the season. Hopefully we won't be down early so we can ground and pound with Greene.
