Cousins puts it right on his receiver for a big gain and he drops it. Drive killer 3rd down penalty bails them out though
Is it a pipe dream that we can land Cousins? Would Wash let him go? Would we really sign him? Sign him and draft a QB too... fuck it
I was going to say if I was him I would be on the first train out of there, that O line is ridiculously bad, especially Nsekhe. But using that rationale, why would he want to go to the Jets.
That looked weird on the sideline between him and Gruden earlier too I thought after that atrocious whiff by the RT? Doesn't look quite right, maybe Cousins is unhappy?
Living in MD, the fans of the Redskins want him back as they realize he is good, but the feeling is that the management of the team isn't going to want to pay him. The question will become do they franchise him again so they can trade him or just straight up let him walk away.
They franchise him he will probably do what he did the last 2 years and take the almost $29M and play there, I don't know that any team is going to give up 2 #1 picks to pay Cousins $25-$28M a year with $50-$60M guaranteed. You never know though. Edit: Just reread franchise tag rules, I was going by 120% of his salary this year to get the above $29M, but after rereading it is 144% for the 3rd year tag which would be the $135M or so.
Other games? What other games? LOL Jets did the Chargers a solid, from waht I've seen of the Chiefs, the Bolts will win the AFCW for sure. Vikings grinded out a win in Atlanta, I think I like them a bit more than the Eagles atm. And the Bears somehow lost to the fucking 49ers. That would help the Browns, but they're going 0-16 anyway.
Second time this season the Titans cover the spread as favorites in the final seconds because they give the ball to Henry who runs it all the way for a long TD rather than running the clock out. Apparently that's his role on the team.
