Initial reports earlier in the week were saying that the rain was supposed to let up around mid-day on Sunday, but it looks like the weather took a turn for the worse. We're looking at a persistant, heavy rainfall from about right now straight through until around 11PM. Wind gusts as high as 34MPH and temps in the low to mid 40's. In other words, fantastic football weather...if you're a duck. :shit:
Shitty weather, Not good for our QB but not good for theres either. Defense will win this along with the running game.
First Jets home game I've been to in years....driving 4 hours to get there. Too bad the weather is gonna be crappy. My 9 year old son is bouncing off the walls with excitement. Go Jets!!!
I agree. I think we're a better team than the Bills and dry weather would have exhibited that. A day like today with a slippery ball is anybody's ball game. I still think we win though, in a low-scoring game.
I think we are a better off vs. them in the rain. TO and Lee Evans are neutralized on a slippery field.
going to have to do the exact opposite of what we did in Seattle last year... in other words run the damn ball and stop the run...
Just checked the Weather Channel page for the stadium and it looks like a good chance for a dry start, but the last hour of the game will likely be in a downpour. Cold and Windy throughout. http://www.weather.com/outlook/recreation/boatandbeach/hourbyhour/USNJ0128?from=hrly_graph_tab
