We have seen the last of the 3 man rush and T.Jones gets 20 carries in each of the last 3 games. I think these two points have been the downfall of the team these last two weeks. The offense needs to go through T. Jones, not Favre. He has been the Jets offensive MVP this year and we need to ride him to the division title. Good teams pound the ball in December, we have the capability of doing this and need to stick with the running game even if it is not working early. It is inexcusable the way we have gotten away from the running game the last two weeks. Brett Favre and the passing game are just not good enough at this point to carry us the rest of the way. Feed the ball to T.Jones and mix in Leon, that should open up the passing game. The division is still ours for the taking, it's time for them to right their wrongs and finish the season strong.
Unfortunately, common sense and confidence in the team are almost obsolete at this point. I agree with you though. It just seems so simple. for them to win, all they have to do is go back what works- but it seems too daunting of a task. My gut says the Bills don't win.
after all that's been seen and said. We are, aorn Locked into the playoffs and the division champs. (We control our destiny) Ironically in the beginning of the season we saw @NE & @TENN as Losses and Denver & SF wins... While I don't consider it a wash, it is in terms of W & L. 2 weeks ago we had a chance to shoot for the #2 and basically threw that out the window. This is where we though we'd be at this point. We just gotta take care of Business.
