It's as simple as that. Ivory looked very good running the ball against an above average run D. If we had handed the ball off to him more in the second half we probably would have won. We can't expect Geno to throw the ball 40 times every game in his rookie season. He's not that player YET. Let Ivory and Powell carry the load. I was very disappointed in MM's playcalling. He is much better than that.
Marty was known for not doing this on the Eagles. I mean after all he had Lesean McCoy and he still didnt run the ball. Sit tight, its going be a long season.

We need to run the ball on first down more. Too many times we were at second and ten. Ivory getting 5 yds a pop. Run the ball!!!
We definately need to run the ball more, both to help our rookie QB and so that the opponents defence can't just focus on pass defence all the time. I hope this pass happy offence is not a sign of what to expect all this season, but I fear it may be.
