We lost to a team that...

-Dropped 7 passes, many of them big gainers.
-Was missing 6 of their front 8 on defense.
-Got the ball losing by six with 1:55 and 2 timeouts at the end of the first half and purposely ran out the clock. Yeah, they literally gave up at the end of the first half. And they weren't getting the 2nd half KO. And they still won.

Only a really messed up team could lose this game.

The season is blown up and JD should be frozen from making anymore big deals. Let this season die, call an end to it at the 3rd we wasted renting Adams for half a season. We shouldn't give away any more assets at the trade deadline. Don't let him move any big pieces. Let the next GM manage their build without being saddled with JDs last gasp of desperation on a lost season and GM tenure.

I know its not a reality based thing, but to send a message, rally for me to be GM. I can turn this team around. Been a fan for 50 years and I know how to build a solid team, both in the draft and the locker room. If we would have followed my draft plans and FA builds during JD reign we'd be the Lions or Eagles (or something similar talent wise).

I know I've become a darksider the last few years and my posting is a little blaze but thats because its so hard to care about this mess. I could see every wrong turn JD took, and that started early in his tenure, and it was hard to digest and care. I don't like desperation and that's all its been.

Feel free to ask me anything, or mock me, or one line zingers, flame me down, etc. That's a GMs life (and the life of a Jets fan). But I'd bring in a radically different culture and approach than what we've had, which wouldn't be the stale names members here keep reaching for. How much worse can it get? Why worry about risking one more dumpster fire when we need a radical change to turn around endless years of slop.

Again, its a radical unlikely move but lets send Woody a message like this. He wont listen to anything else. Like you, I understand all the slop we've been served for endless years, know how to navigate Woody's follies, have nothing to lose standing up to him, and understand how to paint the Jets in the media. One thing I can promise, turn me loose and it wouldn't be boring. We'd have a winning season next year, while only beginning the build.

Clemmons bone head roughing penalty didn't help their last drive either. How long are we going to let this guy lose games for us?

You know, I'd put my $.02 behind you.

I'd throw my hat in the ring with you but I simply do not have the temperament. If even thought for 5 seconds that Wood-RUFF would give you a shot I'd get behind you 100%!

    Ouchy for GM!

Sauce was just fine on that play, who would have thought that ball would have actually been caught? Not like they were catching anything else before that.

You also missed a few other interesting statistics about the Patsies.

    - Set a NFL record for the number of different offensive lineman they have had to play before game 8, including 6 different left tackles
    -
Are dead last in the NFL in offensive yards and 29th in points
    - Is the second worst team by total DVOA at a truly shocking -41%, put in perspective the worst score of the last 5 years was -31%. (imagine being a Carolina fan right now...)
