Playoff Fever? Flying toward postseason? It is WAY too early to start printing this shit especially when you look at the teams in front of the Jets.

    If the season ended today:

    1. Indianapolis (9-0)
    2. Denver (7-2)
    3. Baltimore (7-2)
    4. New England (6-3)
    5. San Diego (7-2)
    6. Jacksonville (5-4) (3-3 in conference)
    -----------------------
    7. N.Y. Jets (5-4) (4-4 in conference)
    8. Kansas City (5-4) (1-4 in conference)
    9. Cincinnatti (4-5) (3-3 in conference)

The best I can imagine is a road wild card game and even that's being optimistic.

Mangini has certainly quieted his critics. Myself included. He has to be considered for Coach of the Year if the Jets make the playoffs.

We can dream all we want, but when we wake up we will be sitting in front of our TV at home watching 6 other teams on TV play football in Jan. Even if by sheer luck we managed to fall into the WC spot, we would not last long. This team is getting better, but still not good enough to beat most the teams on that list reliably.

Not for nothing...But Houston, Green Bay, Minnesota, Miami, and Oakland are no push over.

Over the last few weeks they've been solid, especially Houston, beating Jacksonville twice and only losing to the Giants by 4. Oakland has had a good defense for the most part...These teams aren't "easy" by any means.

Well, no NFL team can be considered a complete push over, but I'd still prefer our remaining schedule over say: San Diego, Denver, Seattle, Dallas, etc.

Since I am too new to start a new thread I chose this one. IF somebody could start this for me that would be appreicated.

What does Chad have to do to be the starter next year and get the long term deal back as if he were the FRANCHISE again?

Will a playoff push be enough or do we have to get in for him to be starter next year?

Does it even matter what he does this year because there will no doubt be a competition again with Clemmons?

Can Penny be our Franchise again?

That's just a tease because the Gints lost. Had the Gints won, we would not get the respect from those "Homer Yankee & Giant" papers.

We'll (Mets & Jets fans) will always be second class citizens in Nu Yawk. It sucks, but that's the way it is.

exactly! Whats so "soft" about Green Bay,Texans and Vikings as of Late? Not to mention the Dolphins and Bills who play us tough regarless. if the Jets D plays like it did Sunday,we can win any game, including the Bears. But this soft Sked shit has got to stop.
