19 million guaranteed over two years. This is no surprise. What I wonder now is whether they keep Leinart. They are paying him a fortune and he will have sat on the bench for 5 years before he has any chance at all of playing. Then what? He walks probably. I'm not interested in him for the Jets but I can't see how AZ can afford to keep him now.

They should trade Leinart to Kansas City to be Cassel's backup.

Even though people occasionally like to bash D'Brick here on TGG, everyone can agree that he sure as hell was a better pick than Leinart. I'm just so glad that the FO did not select Leinart with the 4th overall pick, whew....

Warner blows. Thats why he wants to keep Boldin cause he knows he will suck without him having Fitz double teamed. The guy throws floaters.

I don't see how Arizona can get good value for him at this point. He hasn't shown anything in his time there, and no one is going to want to give up a high draft pick just to risk it on his contract.

He was one drive away from winning the Super Bowl against the best defense in the league. Kurt Warner does not blow.

not a big shocker but the amount of money he got was a lot for a 37 or 38 guy

Good for Warner. He did good work in Arizona. He would have been nuts to jump ship for the Niners.

Also shocked to see Bidwell pay up for a change.

That is a ridiculous statement. Kurt Warner is one of the top 5 QBs in the league right now.

This is a smart decision by both Arizona and warner.

The sensible thing is to trade Leinart, but please, not to the Jets.

A real fucking moronic statement. Warner is so bad that he made the superbowl and finished well over 4,000 yards passing? Just plain stupid.

Kurt Warner is only interested in looking like a nice guy, but in actuality he's the same as everyone else (or at least most people ) - its all about the money.
