Jets declared RB Cedric Houston, QB Kellen Clemens, WR/KR Tim Dwight, LB Anthony Schlegel, C Trey Teague, DT C.J. Mosley, TE Zachary Hilton, and LB Trevor Johnson inactive for Week 1.

    Trevor surprised me a little.

Looks like Ramsey is the #2 QB after all.

And Dwight might not last the year with this team if he can't even play week one. People compared him to Chrebet? HA! Out of their minds.

Why would Houston be active? That would make no sense.

I think that's the smart move on Game Day. Better to have an experienced player come in for Chad in mid-game then the rook. You want the rook to start the game after a week of prep, not under fire mid game.

Schlegel gathering splinters is not a good sign for a third round pick. It's early but that is not looking like a good pick.

To think a guy started Zach Hilton in my football keeper league!!!

The guy's a real reactionary by the way. Every year after Week 1 games he picks up guys off the FA list who had big games. Last year he picked up Frisman Jackson!!! This year he already picked up Joey Porter after Thu's game. The odds Porter will have a better fantasy game this year than the one he had on Thursday are extremely low.

I thought the jets would cycle through blaylock, barlowm and houston at RB.

I forgot Dwight was banged up.

Not a good sign that Schlegel is inactive, but we are very deep at LB.

I think they have enough backs that Houston can sit this one out. I hope it's partly due to the two fumbles against the Eagles. Fumbles are not something to tolerate, rain or no rain. Make him think about it.

Honestly, I'm not surprised that Schlegel is inactive. Chatham and Myers are ST specialists, Barton, Vilma, and Kassell are solid ILBs. Not alot of room there. He's going to have to start busting it in practice on special teams to be able to dress -- meaning he has to beat out a guy from another position to play specials.

Houston and Trevor Johnson are a bit more surprising, but they gotta get down to 45 (46).

I'd be Ramsey is #2 on gameday, but if Chad went down, next week, Clemens would start.
