SNY is reporting that Houston is fine, should be able to go next week.

Coles was seen carrying bags in the tunnel, and said that he probably wouldn't be able to do it with a seperated shoulder.

Great news on both accounts. I'm thinking Coles' injury isn't that serious...it would've been on ESPN by now if it were news. Houston should be a big part of the running game for now on, so I'm glad he's fine too.

Doesn't sound too bad. I really hope they get tested just incase.

It's better to be safe than sorry.

This is from one of the beat writer's blog...

Nothing official will be known on running back Cedric Houston or wide receiver Laveranues Coles until tomorrow. But having just returned from the Jets locker room, here’s what can be reported through basic observation:

Houston hobbled out of the stadium on crutches with his right leg elevated slightly. At times, he dropped his right leg down to put weight on it, but not often. It doesn’t look too good for him.

Coles was in the locker room to address the media. After telling wave after wave of reporters that he was ``OK,’’ he said if he wasn’t OK, he wouldn’t be talking to us. Still, he appeared to hurt his right wrist and the whispers downstairs were he underwent an immediate X-ray.

Just looking at the Houston play, looks like he blew out his knee. The way it bended was awkward and he was unable to put weight on it. Honestly, I don't think it looks too good for him.

Hmmm....SNY says that Houston is fine, and then a couple of other places make it sound like he blew out his knee.

I'd like to find out whats going on.

i was at the game. It really didn't look good for houston. He put no pressure on his left leg. He really looked to be in pain

WTF someone get the right info. Houston looked like he was ready to take over the starting spot.

Losing Houston would moderately stink, let's not forget he inactive for the first 2 weeks and likely will not be a make or break player this season but yes I think he does improve our running game.

    on the other hand

Losing Coles for any period of time will be a minor Fu&%ing disaster. He IS our best offensive weapon, and arguably our best player. People game plan for him and fear him.

My guess is neither sees the field against JAX.
