The Jets current uniform has a white helmet with a Green football logo. I was having a debate with a friend and he doesn't think think they every had a Green helmet with a white football logo while I think they did for a year. Can anyone help us out and tell us if the Jets uniform every included a green helmet and a while football logo?
Yes, I believed they used a green helmet with our current logo in 1994, I think it was for 30 years for the Jets or something. I think they wore it for only one game.
We used it during throwback games in '93 and '94. In '93 we had a 25 year reunion of the SB III team and used it then in '94 it was the NFL's 75th anniversary and every team wore throwbacks for certain games.
November 21, 1993 Bengals 12 Jets 17 The Jets wore green helmets with a 1968 style logo. It was for a 25th anniversary of the Super Bowl team. That was the first regular season game I attended. I think the Jets may have worn those same helmets a couple times in 1994 for the league's 75th anniversary season...or maybe they were white ones. Somebody else will confirm that.
wtf I have a painting that's supposedly all the different jets uniforms on my wall and those ones aren't on it. I'm sueing.
It probably only has the primary uni's, we only wore the '93 uni's for a game and the '94 ones for a couple of games.
